Welp gov shutdown affecting ability to send packet out

I believe its due to the government shutdown that I am unable to access Tax transcript function on IRS.gov, but I could be wrong. Has anyone else had a problem?' I have been unable to access it since December 30th. Need to get them soon so I can send the packet or my husband will be out of status on the 24th. I didn't deliberately wait to download them I thought I had them all turns out I need 1 more. so I guess I am SOL until they are back online.

You can have it mailed to you too from the same page. Maybe trying requesting that while you wait?

Probably right. My wife works in the mortgage industry, and a bunch of loan applications are stalled because they can't get their tax transcripts. Good times! /sarcasm.

Edited to add: I would send in your AOS package w/a copy of your returns if you can't get the transcript by the 24th. Worst case is you get a RFE down the road. By that point you should have the tax transcripts.

I had this problem, but before the shutdown.  The function to access online was not working, and I requested to have them mailed, and again, nothing.  A second mail request, and still nothing.  In early December I had to mail a paper request, and finally, on December 31st I got them in the mail.

I agree with the people above.  Send in the actual return and appropriate appendices, and later on, you can send the transcripts.
