London based US citizen moving to US in February, is there anyway my wife can join me out here while we wait for her i-130 application?

I have a great job opportunity that starts in February and want to take it.

 

But would prefer not wait for the ~10 months for my wife (and our two children)'s i-130 form & visa applications.

 

Is there a visa on which she can wait with me in US?

There’s direct consular filing with London - you should look into that.

There is no way that they can travel to the US in February and remain here....they can make visits.  The fastest way would be DCF through London.......but you have to file it while you still live there.......

If you are a legal resident in the UK you can file your I130 in London.  Provide them with some documentation for this job opportunity.  We filed DCF awhile back and got the packet to start preparing the interview documents about 3 weeks later.

The rules say your wife has to either accompany or follow you to the US but either way its much quicker to file with the embassy than to send the I130 to the lockbox.
