Not in this district no. It is very widespread and VERY rural economically deprived.

I thought about living in Bladen County but decided against it because it is so rural. If something were to happen it's a long way to Fayetteville which is closest big city.

The districts I am looking into is my home region in the Triad. Where the 5th, 6th, and 13th Congressional districts are, looking primarily at the 5th.

It wouldn't. But both sides need to crack down on vote harvesting

I remember this topic being covered on This American Life a few years ago. It sounded incredible back then, do we know why the secretary of state did not clamp down on this?

I do not in all actuality since it was brought up to them after the 2016 election and they refused to press charges.

If you read in to intricacies of this whole thing like I it would come apparent that both sides knew and did nothing about it at all. I have no proof but my guesstimate is that they did nothing because then it would come down hard on both sides because they both do it.

This is the sort of thing that I absolutely hate no matter whose side is it on because it disenfranchises everybody.

Absolutely.

The focus has been on the Congressional Seat, but what about all of the other down ballot elections? Is the legislature talking a total redo? Was this the only close election?

They are talking about it being redone but nothing definitive yet. This state has become so hyper-partisan it is crazy and both sides are digging in to try to get that seat.

If you looked at link I sent you would see that he was paid to help "GOTV and Elect" the Bladen County sheriff. Which if you know anything about rural counties the Sherriff is pretty much the guy in charge of the county.

Republicans that year. But the Dems have had the AG office for 10 years now so they could have brought charges but didn't.

How would voter ID prevent absentee ballots from being misrouted , stolen or altered?

It would definitively distinguish the vote by the illegal Hondureño from that of the illegal Guatemalteco, thus helping the Democrat party define its constituency.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Your sense of humor is an aquired taste for sure.  I don't think it bears any light on the North Carolina situation, unless you have evidence of non-residents voting there. This is about appropriated absentee ballots for legal and entitled US citizens.

I think it's very hard to have an honest reasonable conversation which has the words legal and entitled US citizens included when one side doesn't care about who votes or how many cross the southern border.

This thread is about the stolen / altered absentee ballots. There is no claim (by anyone that I have heard) that undocumented immigrants are voting in North Carolina by absentee ballot.

The only thing we need for an honest, reasonable conversation is an acknowledgement of the facts.

I like how you have skirted that issue by using carefully designed words like above.
