You mean you submitted your rfe since April 05 2017 not 2018 ??

@aquila isn't that more than 20 months? Do you have a lawyer? Maybe they can call to find out what's going on.

Some times I Dnt seems to understand this vawa sef ...rfe received for more than 19 months that’s ridiculous...I Dnt know what to say

@Psquare some got thiers approved after 29 days, others 32. But 18 months is just too long. I read somewhere that one can file a  form (I've forgotten the name of the form) forcing USCIS to make a decision to  a case.

The way they treat some vawa cases be like they just forget your case and open it whenever they like cause even after approving vawa you still have to wait for some time to be called for i485 interview...I still the guy @acquila to write them to inquire what’s going on ,sometimes sef the pursuit for this green card can be tiring and strenuous like after receiving the green card it’s the key 🔑 to heaven or you are not going to die anymore ....some stories I read discourages me sometimes may God just help us

@Psquare I already got in touch with my congresswoman on my case and USCIS says my case is pending security checks. I did the filing myself no lawyer.

@aquila, I wish I had your kind of patience. That security check is taking a long time. I'm just 26days after RFE was received by USCIS and I can't eat nor sleep anymore. God will bless your case. Keep us inform.

Sure I'll keep everyone updated. You have you keep up with life and don't think about it so much because it can make you have sleepless nights and sometimes depressed but never give up or lose hope. I just make sure my EAD card is always renewed on time and work to keep me busy.

Thanks so much and really appreciate your input.
