Hi everyone! I’ve been a silent observer on here for the last few months but can’t contain my excitement anymore as December filers are finally receiving their approvals!

NOA1 — 12/27/18

NOA2 — ??

I just spoke with a friendly Tier 2 officer. He was unable to confirm whether the background check was done but did say our file has been reviewed and there are no issues seen/no causes for any RFEs. Hoping that means a notice of approval in the next few days. We’re keeping our fingers crossed! 🤞🏼🤞🏼😁

Eric join us also in the April thread. Also I have posted lots of information about the Philippines process with great links. You can find them toward the top of this page as I had posted them for Brakali.

@Mo&I Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

We got our approval notice!!!! Our application was received 12/26/18 and our notice date 3/28/19!!!!! What does it mean that the approval notice is only valid from 3/28/19-7/27/19? We have to do the next step and get an interview in before July 27? We’re soo excited!!!

Thank you soo much for your response. We have to wait still for our package before we can call the embassy for the interview is that correct? My fiancé is from Trinidad and according to the site there is a two month wait for an interview. That makes me a little nervous with the time frame.

That makes me a little nervous with the time frame. Why are you nervous. The explanation I gave was that you could have it extended. There isn't a need to be nervous. You will not get denied because you reached the end of the first 4 months of your NOA2. The NOA2 is good for a year so the embassy can extend beyond the first extension.

Here is what you will need for your interview:
