Hi guys,

I have read some threads about this but I am still confuse. So, which is which?

Should I only get GCP?

or should I get both GCP and PDOS?

I believe they are both under CFO (Commision of Filipinos Overseas) right?

Thanks!

If you have K-2s (many do) they are peer counseling or PDOS depending on age.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Does an original copy of CENOMAR really needed? Isn’t it a repetitive requirement..

I only have 1 and I’ll be submitting it in USEM on my interview next week.

CFO has no connection with the embassy.

Make a copy of the CENOMAR maybe CFO will be happy with that.  Besides they don't always ask for it..

If the counseling goes well, will they give me sticker right after it? My appointment is set on Friday 2-5pm.. and my fiancé wants me to fly on weekends.

Thanks!

You can get the sticker in your passport   IF  you have your visa already, otherwise you have to return for the sticker.
