No - every case is different. Its impossible to say as the posters before said. Mine took about 7 month for approval. I wasn't the first approval with that priority date and there are still people waiting with it (9-10 month now). So basically expect the worst, stay calm sane and patient 😞 nothing else we can say. It will be a long and annoying waiting for sure unfortunately.

Current average times, based on the last year's data from users on Visa Journey show 409 days from filing I-130 to visa interview.  You should complete a timeline and it will show you an estimated approval for I-130 at USCIS, after that NVC takes a few months, then more time for consular interview.  Do your research on this site, set up a timeline, and your question will be answered.  It is more than a year right now and depends on many factors like the supporting evidence you submitted, how quickly you respond to RFEs if you get them and submit documents and pay fees at the NVC stage, etc.  Some consulates/embassies also take longer than others, depending on your country of origin and specific circumstances.  Also important is if petitioner is USC or LPR.  More details are needed before members here can help you with a more specific estimate of time.  Good luck!

So, you were allowed to speak to a tier 2 person? Even tho the pd date is June ? What exactly did he say? Case being reviewed? What did he mean? Maybe I should call Monday and ask too?

He said my case is in transit which mean it has been assigned and sent to an adjudicator. Once they get file they have 30 days to approve if there are no issues but said he seen cases approved within 2 weeks of them receiving. Because I seen approvals around the same time as my PD. I called to inquire

Im sorry if i am being redundant but how long have you been waiting? you filed in June 2018 like we did so? I assume if I called than they will allow us to speak to a tier 2 rep?

Check the processing time:

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

Potomac service center is running faster than posted processing times. I understand that the processing times mean that 50% of the cases will be completed by the first date and 95% of the cases will be complete by the second date.  thanks for your help.

Actually, it only gives you an estimate. I’m early September 2017 filer, and just received an interview date, total of 14+ months. :(
