Hi guys!

I had a waiver interview, it was very smooth, the officer told me that he was going to mail me his decision. My attorney asked for a timeframe and his said that they were a little bit behind and he couldn’t give us a specific timeframe.

My interview was on Aug 29 and I haven't receive any news until now.

Any thoughts?

If the interview was very smooth, I would not worry that much. Wait it out a little bit more and you will see the final decision very soon, hopefully in a couple days. Wish you luck and cheers!

I received my approval yesterday and checked the status, my green  card is in transit and is expected to be delivered tomorrow. Good Luck to everyone who is still waiting..

Did anyone here who got an RFE or interview get a status update on the USCIS website?

 

We moved in mid August and our new mail service has been less than stellar. I know there are multiple pieces of mail that aren’t getting delivered to me from other sources, and I’m worried something important may have gotten lost.

 

I’m thinking about having my husband call USCIS and explaining the situation and asking if we missed any mail notifications.

The case right before mine was approved yesterday. The case right after mine got RFE on 9/9.

 

I hope to hear something sooner rather than later.

Are you checking both websites? Also are you enrolled in USPS Informed Delivery?

When we received request for additional evidence the status online has changed as well to request for additional evidence was sent. Once they received our package, they also changed it to response to request for evidence was received

This is the second, newer website. In my case the old site says Fingerprint fee was accepted, the new website says Fingerprint review was completed. 

 

 

About USPS - that's really weird.

We got a "your card is being produced" email update yesterday (9/16)! (Coincidentally, the same day we had our ultrasound for our first soon-to-be kid! Great day!) We are early October filers at LIN. A couple of other notes especially in case they're helpful to any future anxious googlers like me:

 

- Aug. 28 we got a notice reading "On August 28, 2019, we updated your name for your Form I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE, Receipt Number LINXXXXXXXXXX. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address." We hadn't requested any changes and some internet searches suggested that this is a common status to receive (for some reason...computer glitch?...) a couple of weeks before approval.

 

- We also had to reschedule the biometrics appointment. We got the biometrics notice on June 21, literally hours before we left the country to visit family for a month, and the appointment was for July 5 (obviously when we would be gone). We raced to mail it back with the box checked to reschedule it and a handwritten note below that indicating the dates we'd be gone. (Of course we made copies for our records.) A couple of days before we returned, around July 19, the neighbor checking our mail let us know we'd received another letter and the date was August 19. So the rescheduling worked totally fine and it doesn't even seem like it delayed us more than a few weeks. This was in the Saint Paul office; husband was in and out in five minutes, said it was almost a letdown how fast and easy it was.

 

Will update the google spreadsheet, so happy this process is almost at an end and good luck to everyone else!

So to ease my anxiety I decided to investigate why some CSC October 2018 filers were approved while most of us weren't, and I found out that all those cases were transferred to Nebraska. The latest not transferred cases from CSC recorded here on VisaJourney that were approved are from July 2018 (check their profiles here, here and here), which gives us a processing time of around 13 months. I guess we will have to wait 2 more months...

Happy here! We received an email from USCIS that action had been taken on our application and to login to see details. I began praying super hard. Well, our prayers were answered. When I checked our status, the websites both said that we were approved,  the permanent card was mailed, and to call if haven’t received in a month to be sent a duplicate card. The next day we received the card in the mail. The next day. 

 

My my husband and I are beyond thrilled about how our processes have gone so smoothly and seemingly ahead of the typical time.
