Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center. <------ Did you get this message?  I thought we schedule our own appointment. I'm happy and confused at the same time LOL.

VJ Thread for those processing in Ghana where you can ask questions of others. Please over to this link and don' be asking people from Germany, Norway or the UK about what needs to be done in your country.

it was said previously, that NVC sends out general notifications, most of the info is for immigrant visas. K-1 is different, but they were too lazy to make an additional coding for K1 so they use general Immigrant visa replies and updates. for example it said "at nvc" then to pay fee's, etc. No fee's paid right? Right. so its same thing with this.
Wait for P3 for more info how to schedule interview, or Greenbaum might have more info on your Embassy ahead of time.
Relax and don't over think. Wait for directions from Embassy or call them when it'll say "ready".

Absolutely  RIGHT !

Just got notice from NVC today! My NOA2 was oct 12.  Is the rest dependant in the embassy or are there any more forms i need to fill out.

Once you get a case number, you can fill out the DS 160 online. Print the confirmation page for this once completed.

When you have your case number, enter it here https://ceac.state.g...ker/status.aspx and it will tell you one of three things,  at NVC, In Transit, or Ready. Once your case shows "Ready" then you email the consulate and request an interview. Include your name, fiancés name, case number and that you're looking to schedule a K1 Fiance Visa interview. I heard they'll email you back within 2 weeks or so but some have heard back the same day that they sent the email.

When they email you back they'll tell you when your appointment is. Attached will be packet 3. Includes a list of doctors to choose from for the medical , your rights and your appointment letter. At that point - just get your papers together. Usually your fiancé gets the police records in a week. Court records same day. Celabecy letter same day. And birth cert in the same day. Once you have them, then dropped them off to be translated. Picked them up in a week. Already you're at 2 weeks for gathering the fiancés paperwork. On top of that make sure your fiancé sends you their documents (I-134, proof of relationship, taxes, pay stubs, letter from employer, updated letter of intent..).

My case has officially been sent to London, England and not to Italy.

Could someone direct me to a link/page/discussion to get an idea on what the required info/documents are in London? I have been preparing for the italian interview so I'm a bit overwhelmed and lost.

The only part I am confused on is the Eligibility letter. Is it required before the interview?

I am just trying to be clear on that. Do we need to show "ready" and have the letter? or is "ready" all that is required.

All the other documents we are ready with and on top of...

Also on the affidavit of support is shows an expiration of 11/30/2018 upper right hand corner.

Is this anything to be concerned about.

Thank you so much in advance. I do try to do more reading than asking.

Make sure to search under "IMMIGRANT VISA" page instead of NON immigrant.
Check your NVC number if it's correct.

Most likely you've got the case number wrong?

No it's right.
Again, everything is exactly as it should be, but for some reason it's not working. I even asked my Fiance' to try but he got the same result.
We only saw "At NVC" once. I check every single day and it always gives me "no data".

Gathering documents and fiance is in the process of getting all his medicals to schedule the interview! Does anyone know if the I-134 must be the original or can it be a scanned copy? My fiance lives in a rural area and it may be tricky to get an original copy to him!!

Sorry, This certainly is not my area of expertise. And I do appreciate the help and understand you get the same questions over a lot...

I did read what you sent. When I click on the link to Hanks site and read this:

"If you decide to sit around waiting for the embassy letter, or are just curious what you missed,
here is a copy of what you "may" eventually receive :

Of course all this information is readily available on VisaConnection-Philippines,
and you can be done with the interview before the email/letter arrives."

That is what gives me question. If you say now we must wait for the eligibility letter, I am good with that.

Thank you,

David
