Hey @Abies hope you've been well in the states and getting use to it. Do you know whether the embassy usually or can claim a document to be invalid even if NVC approved of it?

The embassy has the final say to approve/issue a visa

@CA1515

Hi everyone. Thank you for all your help and support. Here are the questions that were asked at my hubby's interview. Our police certificate was fine since we just got it in June.
They asked the following paperwork at the window:
Marriage Cert
Police Cert
2017 taxes for sponsor and co-sponor.
Birth Cert
Oh and if you had US visa, please bring it also because they are asking for it if you are approved.
Here are the questions:
Here are the questions my hubby got asked. Hubby thinks the CO didn't want to approve him but found nothing. By the way, the CO spoke Spanish to him with some accent. Hope it helps.

Who petition you?

When is your wife birthday?

How and where did you meet?

How long have you been married?

How often do you see each other?

When was the last time you were in the US?

What does your wife do for a living?

Who pays for the visa process?

What are you going to do when you're in the US?

What do you do for a living?

Have you ever worked in the US?

Have your ever committed a crime?

Have you used drugs?

What is your highest education level?

What does your co-sponsor do for a living?

Where does co-sponsnor live?

From what I have seen and follow recent approval.  CEAC shows ISSUED the same day.  You get notification for shipping about 6-7 business days after the interview.

Yes. But does that go for documents too? Me and this other applicant from Khartoum sent in a certificate of good conduct with our civil documents from Malaydia. NVC accepted mine but refused his. They were both issued from the Malaysian embassy in khartoum but nvc told him it was the wrong authority issuing it. Mine went through so i was wondering what are the chances they say something at the interview.

Ps. Congratulations for getting the green card!

I am happy for you and hugs and kisses to you as well😘

My hubby green card status still says In Process and we still waiting to receive his SSC.

The funny thing is my hubby POE was September 20 at LAX, I am very patient when dealing with USCIS because I know it is not by first come first serve service lol. USCIS received his process papers on September 22 and on October 12 his green card status changed from received to accepted. I am hopeful by Friday we will know for sure if his green card is in the mail.

@Abies  happy you have received your green card 💃
