As a K1 you have never submitted an I693!

The medical exam that you completed abroad was completed on a DS302X series of forms. Panel Physicians do not use I693s. They are for US Civil Surgeons only. It would be impossible for your I693 to be expired as you never had one, were never required to have one and still arent required to have one as a K1.

Does anything else apply to you in this notice or is it simply a form letter?

OMG! I'm so naive!! lol maybe so tired with my newborn but you are so right!!! I knew visajourney would have the answers!!! thank you so much!

It seems USCIS works in unthinkable way because I filed way after you and got EAD/AP in 3 months. My case is ready to schedule for interview since May 15. I didn't file to expedite or anything. Now I'm just waiting to get interview date whenever they ready to schedule it. Hang in there!

Hello, guys !

We've been waiting for 308 days to get our interview for green card scheduled.

We've got our EAD in, somewhat, normal processing time but it worries me the long wait for interview to be scheduled, since its on ''ready to be scheduled'' since November 2018.

Anyone having the same issue ?

I485 processing times depend on your local field office. "Ready to be scheduled" signifies its review completion at the NBC and it being sent to your LFO to sit and wait for an interview.

If your timeline is correct and your LFO is NYC, you have one of the longest processing times of all of them of 21.5 to 37.5 months currently for family based adjustments.

You can continue to monitor that here:

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

What is your concern though?

You have an EAD and are eligible to renew that within 180 days of it's expiry.

So I did technically get a response to my 3rd service request yesterday, but they only sent it to my lawyer, not me, and it's such a non answer that is just lieing to us.

"Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in the order received and in a timely and efficient manner."

I know it's a stock answer, but "in order received" is obviously not true.

Called USCIS up this morning, was told to escalate to a tier 2 but their offices have closed for the day, so I should call back when they open Monday morning (so 5 am PST...). I mentioned struggling to pay rent due to living in SF bay area, and being at double expected processing times, so the operator sent an expedite request for me instead. Should hear back from that by the 25th.

11/12/2017 - Entered US on J1
10/18/2018 - Filed AOS at NBC
12/11/2018 - Biometrics
02/28/2019 - USCIS mailed RFIE on I485
05/09/2019 - USCIS received RFIE response
06/11/2019 - USCIS mailed another RFIE on I485
06/19/2019 - USCIS received 2nd RFIE response
07/24/2019 - I485 ready to schedule for interview
01/22/2020 - I485 interview (in San Jose instead of San Francisco)

My EAD was misspelled, due to mistake on my part, and was sent back to be corrected.I wasn't issued an official SSN but I got the number and it I am working legally since I've been authorized to work, just the spelling was incorrect and I was informed by USCIS officer that I am legal to work.

As for my concern, I am not sure what my LFO is, as far as I remember, I think its in Chicago, didn't really look it up, but I am residing in Westchester Country and I did my fingerprints here.

I was just wondering why is it taking so long and was trying to see is anyone having the same long waits.

If you input your zipcode here:

https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices

...you can determine what your LFO actually is and then use the link i posted above to see the estimated processing times for family based I485s (C9).

*Your LFO isnt where you mailed the package. Its where you will be interviewed and is based on your zip code. You cant compare yourself to anyone who is not processing at your LFO which is where i think there might be some confusion. You can only look to those at your LFO to make any kind of comparison.

Let us know what your LFO turns to be and i can show you your estimated wait time there.

Well just got an update that they received our expedite request. Might still call them up tomorrow, speak to a tier 2 and send a 4th service request. Not sure if you can have an expedite request and service request at the same time, but if USCIS doesn't like it, it's their fault; they should have not ignored the first 3 requests!
