First, Congratulations to all who received their EAD/AP card and approvals on the AOS

My EAD/AP is being mailed! yesterday, my AOS case updated to Ready to schedule interview, I'm not sure how long it will take to get my interview schedule. BTW, I am from Hawaii.

My worry is, my Philippine passport has expired and I haven't got the time to renew it. How will that affect my AOS?

It wont. You can still use it as ID for your AOS interview or you can use your state ID/DL for your interview once you get that after applying for it with your combo card.

You just wont be able to travel internationally until you renew it.

In my country (Canada) I can't update my passport to my married name unless i have a government issued ID in that name so I have to wait for my Combo to get my State DL to update my passport. Mine will likely be expired too when I go to my AOS inteview as I'm not sure i want to risk sending my old passport to Canada (which i have to do to renew/update my name) during the small window of time that may occur after receiving my Combo card and the interview. I just want to play it safe and have my passport, expired or not, with me at the interview.

Do you know the timeline from EAD card ordered and card sent?

Lol me neither. I just checked. A case two numbers below mine just updated to "card was mailed". It was "case received" earlier this evening and went straight to "card was mailed".

I'm sleeping with the notifications ringer on tonight.

A case number one below mine changed to "New Card Is Being Produced" yesterday. I hope it means something!!! 🤞

Has anyone from Michigan gotten approved for ead or interview? I feel like things aren’t moving at the Detroit office

Your EAD/AP is at the NBC.

Your GC interview will occur at the Detroit FO if that's your LFO.

I know but for some reason I feel like they work kinda together, because I see a lot of people getting their EAD approved and at the same time (or almost at the same time) their AOS gets an update to “interview ready to be schedule” or “interview scheduled”
