hi all,

our  interview happened in islamabad consulate on Nov 20, 2017 and by end of interview consular gave white paper with 221(g). recently CEAC updated status from READY to REFUSED and till day no email / documents / passports are returned from consulate. so need clarity that is it permanently denied or temporary denied based on interview. also what next is expected (if someone had similar experience) please tell. how long will it take to change from REFUSED to READY to ISSUE again in mentioned case.

considerations:

mother is house maker, not earning and listed as dependent on her sponsor

mother petitioned all unmarried sons as LPR

filed joint affidavit of support with house hold member, along with her

one of son got married after petition, so he didn't appeared in interview nor sent documents to nvc, because we are aware that there is no provision for him to immigrate

while interview they inquired about him too, so i clearly told he is married

221(g) letter they requested W2, IRS joint sponsor that is provided again

although all provided documents were complete but they again requested IRS, W2 and Joint Sponsor

Do they still have your passport?  If so, there is hope that it is temporary.....processing sometimes requires a lot of patience.

Once you have sent in all documents requested, all you can do is wait. There is no specified time line for this part of the process.
