With adjustment for overlap, what percentage of the total population would these groups be?

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

It's a very small percentage overall but they are making life in parts of SF and LA almost unbelievable by having homeless camps out in the open and shooting up drugs.

Downtown Denver is getting a bit like that, so many people just avoid it, also issues in Boulder etc.

Not too good if you live/work in that area but you get what you vote for.

I've been to San Francisco for four or five times since 2006. My last visit was for a conference in Feb '16 for two days. Conference venue was near Union Sq, I also stayed in downtown. I noticed a big change in number of homeless as well. We were having lunch at a small restaurant and a homeless dude came in and asked for money from each table. He definitely looked like he was on something. God knows if he was carrying a knife or anything else. I've never had an experience like that in the US. Felt very uncomfortable. I was surprised restaurant owners were indifferent, no one asked him to leave. Maybe they were also scared to say something.

I was back at the valley April '17. Didn't go to SF, stayed near Sunnyvale-Mountain View area. I didn't notice any homeless there. Maybe it's just a downtown SF problem.

Downtown Denver can't end up like that. It hit's -20 in the winter.

Doesn't really matter who you vote for, if you don't have a health system and social network that can get people off the streets, this is what happens. And, yeah, it does tend to be worse in cities with year round temperate climates.

You are right on this. I know LA and the OC are getting bad because of doing nothing about the just setting up camps everywhere.

The OC started clearing them out but then got sued by the advocates but luckily they were able to clear out of the river bed, Santa Ana, and Irvine before they got sued. The problem with the OC is that it has a lot of rehab centers there that once the 6 months are up the people are thrown out on the street.

All the while LA and LA County hasn't really done anything for the homeless besides letting them set up camps all over LA City and getting a tax passed called HHH to supposedly help the homeless.

San Francisco actually has a Feces map app to help avoid the poop on the street.

It also tends to happen in cities with year round radical leftist agendas running them. Some of the homeless people are there through no fault of their own but we all know many of them just don't want to work and the mentality of entitlement and perpetual government handouts doesn't help the situation.
