we have been waiting since 11/24/2018 ( I know many of you are much longer).... I'm just tired and frustrated and frankly angry when I see December filers from our country being approved. Are we at the bottom of someone's basket???? Are our names too common? Did we merit additional time? Are we denied? Damn I just want to know SOMETHING!!!!! Sorry needed to vent :(

Aww sorry you're feeling this way! It is unfortunately part of the journey. Try not to think too much about other people's cases and timelines and compare it to yours. It is like the lottery. There are fast officers and slow workers. There are also a lot of things that happen behind USCIS' closed doors that we the public don't know about. It took 8 months for me to get my EAD and I was also freaking out that something terrible had happened. But nope, they just took their sweet sweet time and now we're waiting for the interview notice (it's making me feel crazy again, I won't lie). You'll hear good news soon!! 🙏

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

@KBA I am still gobsmacked that you haven't heard anything and you've hit your 1 year mark. It's just crazy to me that you know nothing yet. Still rooting for you over here <3

This is the waiting and frustration game. I did it all the way from K1 to citizenship (a month ago) and all is about waiting. So hang in there. Soon you will be with the one you love.

Filed mine back in August and just joined her at her interview yesterday for approval. I know what you mean but the end result will all be worth it. To see the look on your fiances face is priceless.
