K1 visa denied in Casablanca

My fiancé was denied his visa today at the interview.. 

We are both so heartbroken.. 

When will I get a formal response with a reason?

 

Should I spend money on appeal?

How long will that process take?

 

or just do a marriage visa?

I can’t even think right now, just didn’t know where else to go for help/Support

What was in the interview? And why they rejected?

how does your fiance think the interview went? did they ask him any questions or make comments that would give a reason as to a possibility of what went wrong? do you have any red flags or anything that you can point to that would give you some kind of indication? They normally won't tell you what went wrong - which sucks cuz the one thing you need to know in order to correct it they won't release. It usually takes a few months to go back to USCIS, where they would only send you a letter saying your case is closed and your free to reapply or submit a petition for a new category. You could try to get DOS (Dept of State), your local congressman/senator involved that 'could' give you some kind of idea, but again you will run into the same problem of not 'knowing' for sure why they denied. I'm sooooo sorry i know that feeling...you can resubmit and make your case stronger with more face to face time and evidence to demonstrate a strong genuine bond, or you could travel to Morocco and get married and file a CR1. In either case be prepared support each other emotionally. This stage would be a difficult one to handle for some couples

thats the thing....they dont tell you specifics. with some help i was able to get some ideas of what happened but thats all...

i can go either way. it all depends on how well your partner portrays your relationship and how they answer and what kind of evidence they have.....

 

BTW: is Saudi Arabia part of the ban list that trump created? I hope that doesn't have any impact on your interview

He said he was the the last person called and the man the interviewed him was pretty young and definitely got a vibe that he didn’t like him  

But said he answered everything correct, I’m sure I will find out more. When we can both can talk more.

I’ve visited 3 times in the last year for a total of over 30days and we had lots of photos, messages.

We are close in age, no divorces, kids, criminal records. 

Didn't see this coming at all 😭💔

The application twill be returned where it will be allowed to die.

You should just get married and do a marriage visa.. your going keep wasting money on a fiancé visa..

I'm so sorry this happened to you! Its so heartbreaking. Can you tell us details on what questions were asked and what your fiance and the CO said?

if she wants to get married now she can and apply for the CR1. there is no waiting period. by the time the marriage is done and the petition is completed USCIS should have already (or close to it) the old file to close it out. They won't touch the new file until they close out of any existing ones.

It just seems so unfair. If you have a lot of face time and a lot of proof and no red flags you should be allowed to be together. How can it be up to one CO officer in a bad mood that's tired from a long day? Its not like this process is quick and cheap. If they are so worried about fraud then they should do better AOS interviews or something. Many people don't even have an AOS interview.
