As long as your sister and her husband meet the poverty level requirements there should be no problem. Family members are ideal in terms of cosponsors. Has the foreign national (not sure if it is you or if it is your partner who is the US citizen?) had the interview at the US consulate yet?

November is a screwed up month, they did them all out of order, and they started December processing on Friday. 200 days for me as well 11/14 same as this poster I believe. We just have to be patient!

I am sure a lot of what's left of November will start to be resolved in the next 2 weeks.

For k1 only one person can be co-sponsor, so it will be either your sister or the husband. So one person should have sufficient funds for sponsorship. If your embassy accepts co-sponsors it won’t be a problem.

right now noa1 to noa2 takes about 6- 7 months, you are well within normal processing times.

good luck!
