Thank you! My husband says he heard people talking at the embassy saying that the ones getting interviewed don’t have to wait long anymore and that it’s only taking a week - 3 months maximum depending on the case.

This is amazing news, I am still waiting for my interview date, so I am hoping this will keep happening until my interview date.

Visa issued... Alhamdullah.

Waiver was done 

In Abu Dhabi embassy.

Three days ago .I got an email from the embassy asking me to submit my passport and updated form DS260. With new Medical report . I did and got my visa the next two days.

When was your interview ?

On March 2018 was the interview then  additional paper were submitted on May 2018 and since then nothing but wait on admin process. Till August 24th 2019 embassy email to resubmit DS260 and new Medical report.

 

on 26th of August submit the required Doc and on 27th visa was issued.

Hi everyone, I have applied for my son since 2011 and his interview in jordan was 09/2018 but went to administrative processing because we are from Syria and still for now, the case got updated 1 week ago but we didn’t get a call or email, please any advice or anything we can do!!!!!

Hi All, 

Does anyone has any information about the way to enter Jordan other than flying through Beirut ? like road trip from Damascus to Jordan.
If we have the interview letter form the embassy would it enough for the Jordanian authorities to let us in the country ?

No, it is not possible.  

If you recieved the interview letter. Read the instructions carefully. Look at what they say here in the screenshot: 

They will CANCEL your interview if you don't give them the Royal Jordanian reservation on time.

The email that i received is different than yours, it looks like this is your first interview. We are called for the second after 15 months in AP.
it will be on Jan 21st.

Congratulations on your second interview.  I suggest you go ask at the Jordanian embassy in Damascus.  I am going there in the morning when they open today. Or try to call them. I am going there to try to get a security clearance.

Why do you need a security clearance ? Just to enter Jordan ? 
They did not mention anything like this in the email they sent me!

Thanks a lot, same wishes for you. 

No, the embassy didn't mention it. But I heard people say we need it. I went to the embassy today.  And they assured me that I don't need a security clearance.  They said as long as I go by plane on the specific airlines and flight numbers that the American embassy instructed, I should be fine.
