Yes.

Usually they will do the I-751 and the N-400 interview in the same interview. Some have had it where their I-751 was a week before their N-400. But yes, you have to be approved for ROC before you can be approved for Naturalization.

Hey all - any CSC filers received their biometrics yet? My understanding is if we have not, we can now call USCIS for them to expedite.

How many here getting those N-400 ready to submit when eligible? This waiting for status is really pushing my Impatient button. Lord they can at least have the receipt number register. This invalid and all that nonsense. Ughhhhhhhh. Okay rant over.

Could someone help me with a CHANGE OF ADDRESS question.

 

I'm i-751 May 2018 filer and i moved from PA to NC last week. The address change instructions in USCIS website says its a 2-step process as I have a petition pending

1) Submit AR11 online (Filled AR11 under Pending Petitions criteria and specified the Receipt# )

2) Call 1800 -  number where they would update the address for the existing petition.

 

I updated AR11 online and When i called the 1800 they mentioned that just Step1# is enough and it would take around 30days for the new address to be updated in my pending Petitions.

This confuses me. Is anyone else in the same situation.

I updated my address using AR11 online and it got updated around 30 days. You don't need to do anything else.

My husband and I also just moved. Will we both have to submit the AR11 or just I as the one that applied for I751?

Make sure to confirm that the address changed. Up until about a month before ROC (2018) came up, USCIS still had our old address on file even though we did the online change (even still have the receipt) early 2017.

They sent out the reminder to ROC about 3 times before they finally changed the address, which was probably more so to the mail being returned than them seeing the address change, or it at least prompted them to look for the online address change.

As long as you filed online and got the notice address changed that's all that's needed.

Can you get a stamp in your passport showing the 18 months extension letter and pending I-751 case? I need the stamp to extend my driver's license 😴
