You can check status of your case from this link. If it says "At NVC", that mostly means CC but you have to call and confirm.

So my cc is confirmed.  just called them. He said they're scheduling interviews every end of the month (like we all already know) so I think we might get the instruction email in a couple of weeks for July interview maybe? Thats my prediction, anyway

I am not sure. I see people getting interview in 45 days advance. I am hoping for interview in mid july.

Hey so my wife (Beneficiary) in India and does she need my original birth certificate in interview? I am trying to gether all the document and send it soon so when the interview comes; she have all the docs.

Sorry for the late response. It took 6 weeks and 1 day (43 days) to get my case number. I think I'll delay uploading my documents for a few days and hope for the best. Good luck to you!

I had a scary call with the NVC just now!

The NVC received my case on March 30th (more than eight weeks), and they confirm that each time I call them. Today, the representative informed me that they don't have my case and I should contact NVCresearch@state.gov! I got so depressed and It took me a while to absorb the shock.

 

Then I called them again, and this time another representative redirected me to dial option five where I got updated that the case is now in the system starting from today for the case number prcoess.

 

I hope this controversy doesn't show any bad signs!

I had something similar happen!

 

I had called every day and they told me they received my case on March 23rd. Every single time. For almost 8 weeks. Then, one day she said "call back and dial option 5" and they told me they received it on May 11th! Which is so so so wrong! Did you get them to "elevate your case?" They did that for me and the next day, we got a case number.

 

So you're not alone!

Hi! This is what happened to me besides contacting that email. Mine petition was approved by NVC on February 28 and NVC officially received the petition on March 14, on April 27 I call and they told me they just got the petition today. After calling several times I found out that March 14 was the non-pivot department receipt while April 27 is the day NVC transferred the petition to pivot department. This is bad luck cause you need to wait at least 8 more weeks (if not more) from the day NVC pivot department receives your petition!!

So I am sure your petition is now in the pivot department today and you need to wait 8-10 weeks from today.

Same here! Option 5 is the PIVOT department. NVC transfers (bad luck) petitions from non-pivot to pivot departments, but the clock starts back to week 0 the moment they transfer without taking in consideration the waiting time before that. How? I don't know, why? Looks like NVC is changing the system to PIVOT to most of the Embassies. I believe they want all embassies to be PIVOT by a certain date 2019? 2020?
