They said they had mailed me a request for initial evidence Saturday 11th august and nothing has turned up as of yet. I start to panic when people get their mail within 2 or so days and I'm still waiting 😟

Yes, I understand that panic! I am not sure if it's reassuring or not but when our AOS packet got rejected the first time in February it took the regular mail almost 3 weeks to deliver it back. To be honest, I am glad I did not know about it, I just thought for whatever reason NOA1 was taking that long 😬
Not sure if RFE are sent by priority or not. Hope it comes soon! Because once you know they sent it patience seems to go out of the window!

I honestly feel like it’s the only option at this point. I hate sitting back and doing nothing! So I think I’m going to start looking into it! At least then I’ll feel a little more pro-active! I really want to start working. My NOA1 is April 16th.

Just curious - Does anyone know what the “priority date” means???

Thanks!

It's your NOA1 notice date.

Congratulations to EAD/Ap approvals! 🎉

Any Houston filer who got approved?

I called USCIS earlier and I was told they're still working on February filers :( getting impatient now since the status changed from Ready to schedule to Fingerprints completed.

My “Notice” date is April 17th 2018.

My “Priority” date says April 2nd 2018.

???

The date that they received your application is  your Filing date/ Received Date. (on the EAD and AP)

They are processing your AOS on the Notice Date (Priority Date).

If you check your USCIS online or on the app, the dates are not the same for received date for the EAD/ AP and AOS

My EAD and AP application was received on March 30th while my AOS was received on April 9th (Priority Date).

I got it today. They want me to send birth certificate, marriage license, passport biographical page and page with visa in. I already sent these originally! They've lost them! Just glad it's something simple. Hopefully after it's sent things will go smooth. They asked for stuff like this on the K1 as well. 🙄🙄

Glad you did not have to wait longer!!! Out of curiosity, did you send all of these  in 3 copies or just one copy for AOS?

Just received a flurry of texts,

a) EAD card is being produced.

b) Name updated on Travel/AP

I literally was texted 10 times by hem with the same update over and over.
