Well the first thing for me is how are you going to provide a divorce decree for a fake wife? The answer is you can’t, you may be able to go to the Jamaican govt and get a notarized document saying that you were never married from a notary public in Jamaica. They would have to look through marriage records I assume and attest to the fact you weren’t married. Lying to the USA Embassy is another kettle of fish. They could ban you for misrepresentation on a visa application. I suggest you read the following: https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/HTML/PolicyManual-Volume8-PartJ-Chapter2.html. You have put yourself in a predicament by lying on a visa application. I hope you can figure things out and everything works out if you genuinely want to be with your US girlfriend. Hope what I posted helps you.  You could get a ban.

Just tell your girlfriend to get marry there in Jamaica. Then file a CR-1 visa. And start from there. If they'll ask you why your "wife's" name is different from before..then tell them that you lied. We have this saying " just cross the bridge  when you get there". It's not bad to be proactive but in this situation, you'll just need to worry when theyll ask you that. Just hope that they'll not. Just remember don't lie again. " What a tangle web we weave when we start to deceive"

That... is not a good advice.

And they WILL ask him about his first "wife".

IF they'll ask him..then that is the time he'll say he lied. He needs to solve his problem one step at a time. I know what he did is wrong and he is worried about how it will affect his visa application soon. But sometimes, okay sometimes most of the things that we worry don't really happen. Im basing that from my own experience

So you think there is a chance they won't ask him about his first "wife" while he apply for a fiance visa and he's suppose to be free to marry? Or even if he gets married to the US girlfriend they will still ask him about first "wife" and the divorce certificate. There is no IF here.

NOT in this case. He committed a very serious mistake. How do you base it from your own experience? Have you done the same thing as he has? Don't compare oranges to apples and think before you suggest. He HAS TO let me know the truth and pray for the best outcome, this is the only option here.

Okay then let's change "if" to When. When they ask him he'll have to say he lied. He needs to correct his mistake by confessing and apologizing. Whatever the decision he has to deal with it.  At least he confesses.

This is not going to solve anything. He will still have to show evidence of divorce from his "first" wife that never happened. The people at the embassy are not stupid.

And what if he gets denied the visa and she doesn't want to move to Jamaica. Then what?

They'll have to solve that by themselves. I'm not on the place to dictate what they need to do. 😂

All i was saying is that they can try. Chill out man!

Chill out? You just gave crappy advice to someone and act like it's a joke to you.

So again, do not compare it then. You have not had anything similar to what OP has. If you don't understand the possible outcome of your advice, do not give it at all. I am not saying you can't post here, I am saying watch what you're trying to suggest.

As if you are very concern with their well-being. And for your information that advice is not for you. Every one has a right to accept or reject an advice. And this time that Jamaican guy has the right to accept or reject that .So if it's "crappy " for you then I'm sorry.

You have a very "smart" position here. To translate it: "Well, I'll just suggest them something that I think would be great to do, and then if it does not work (and will even bring more issues), I'll just step out and say oops I do apologize, solve it by yourself". Are you serious now? Again, do not say something if you don't know how it will affect something.
