Congratulations! (Muito feliz por ti, também! ;) )

Thanks! 🙏 Sorry I never answered your question my friend lol. And yeah a little, I understand it way more than I can speak it and living on an island there (Brazil) for a tiiiiny bit helped as well. I loved how Brazilians love their coffee and always offered it to me every morning as a gift (I was surprised) because they just love it and said coffee needed to be shared 💕. Hehe. I have problems with coffee now though, and milk, and turned into a tea person (uhhh biology) but that’s another story... Congrats for your card in hand!! 😎

So after I submitted the Ombudsman form online, I got a generic email from them with a case number. THEN I replied to THAT email saying my EAD/AP was really overdue and it was very urgent that I get it asap. They replied saying they'd share it with the analyst on my case (and they did contact USCIS within a couple days of my request).

Yes I would do what Hamilton suggested and contact the ombudsman that way. They seem to act faster and really, @borodine01 you’ve been waiting a super long time so they should be more than capable and willing to help you. That is the way to go, I believe.

With some people waiting still after hundreds of days for the EAD/AP and others recently receiving theirs.

I am just wondering how long this process actually takes. In the past I have had friends send in applications March of 2016 and Green card in hand by that August, some within 6 months and its taking some of us 6+ plus month to receive work authorization.

Will these interviews every come? when will this be over. I know it will be over but it just all seems unnecessarily long.

Sorry for my rant it just seems crazy.
