Wow that is so unfair! We should be able to talk to someone and get our case process since their page clearly says to allow “up to 3 weeks” .. I sure hope they solve this problem SOON.

Yes, this so crazy and unfair. @Mmefall, you should and insist to talk to a supervisor.

M'en this is crazy. You need to get hold of a supervisor; try again and hopefully get a reasonable rep.

I'm currently in Morroco with my wife. We'll be arriving to the states on Monday. Dulles International Airport will be the entry location. I'll let you know our experience as soon as we are finished.

My wife's entry was easy. We were supposed to go in separate lines but the guy let me go with her because she doesn't speak English. We didn't have a package because we did it electronically. They just took our passports and said we had to do a little more processing because this was her first time entering. After waiting in the customs/security section for about 30 mins while they reviewed things they called us to the desk and said you can go. No questions asked. Out the door we went to get our luggage and off to the hotel while we waited on our morning flight home.

Hey, this sounds similar to my case. I uploaded all documents Feb 21, all but one showed accepted within days. Now no movement on my case in weeks and no new messages :( I called twice; the first time someone just told me my case hadn’t been reviewed yet and that she would put a note on it (whatever that means). Yesterday I spoke to someone who said it was in administrative processing and could give me no time frame for completion. It’s quite discouraging... just trying to leave it all in God’s hands knowing it will work out when it’s supposed to. I hope that you get your case complete soon. It felt like it was just within reach, only had to wait for that 3-week countdown, and now this.

Update: I received an email March 28 (5 weeks after submitting to CEAC) to let me know that my police certificate was not the right one so we are resubmitting that. It was SUCH a relief to hear back finally, after calling them twice and sending an email! I am so relieved that we can just submit that document now, get back in line and hopefully be done with this all soon :) I was seriously worried when I was told “no time frame”... don’t google ‘administrative processing’, you’ll just stress out :D
Thanks everyone who reached out and replied - I really appreciate the camaraderie and helpfulness of others in the same boat.

UPDATE!

I got an email just 30 mins ago! They rejected my husbands (the beneficiary) foreign birth certificate! It was dated a year ago today so I am assuming it is too old? The message on CEAC was really vague but they accepted our copy of our marriage certificate that is also 1 year old?

All stamps were correct and per their civil document requirements on the site it is correct document they want for Senegal.

Should I just get new copy and translation and resubmit?!

I'm sure you have, but you should call Nvc before submitting because before I submitted all Docs, I got a really nice operator who gave me a ton of upload pointers. She said that a lot of people upload multiple copies or versions of the same document and basically nvc will accept the correct copy and just put N/A for the extras and give CC. I am no expert haha, but sometimes you luck out with who you talk to there.
