Gracias. Todo estará bien. Los consulados son amigables y es fácil hablar con ellos. Toda la entrevista de mi esposo se sintió como si estuviéramos hablando con un amigo sobre nuestro viaje

I hope so and that we will go just as well as you! ^_^

Hello everyone I'm happy to announce my husband's Visa was approved today

Total time spent at the embassy 45-50 minutes

Questions

Are you the petitioner to me

when and where did you meet her reaction was wow what a nice love story

Have you ever lived or worked outside of Guyana

Did you start it dating right after meeting

she asked me how often did I travel to Guyana

Congratulations your Visa was approved

Then she said to him come back on Tuesday the 3rd she stopped herself and asked me when was I returning back to the United States I told her that I was traveling back to the United States on the 3rd. And I would like for us to travel back together . She then said they don't process visas on Thursdays and Friday and Monday are holidays I told her then I will call my boss and request an additional day off would we be able to pick up the Visa Tuesday morning she said hold on let me check something she came back and said come back tomorrow at 1 p.m. to pick up your passport with the VISA

What document did they take from you? Did they require updated tax documents?

Last week I received an email directly from the embassy with a checklist. Requesting original birth certificate for my husband and I, marriage certificate and police clearance from all countries he's ever lived in and copies of those requested doucments. I had a binder with 2016 tax transcript and 2017 w2, pay srubs, job letter, wedding photos, printed phone conversation.

But when we got there they only wanted what was on the checklist they emailed us and nothing else, they even gave us back all the documents we sent with the i130 and doucments we sent to nvc.

But my best advice to you is walk with everything its better to have it and not need it then need it and don't have it

Hey guys, I got a cc yesterday, March 27th for our case. Now we are waiting for the interview to be scheduled! We are expecting our interview date to be after April so from what I understand, we are required to take the 2017 tax return to the interview, correct? I am planning to file for 2017 taxes as married filing separately. Do I need to submit W-7 if I file this way? Also, since I would not have the tax transcript for 2017, would just a copy of the tax return be sufficient or do I need to take something else as well? Some people have mentioned getting the tax return stamped from IRS as well. Can someone please explain exactly what I need to do? Thank you so much for the help in advance! :)
