My wife's case was transferred to the local field office last month. We received a letter today that her conditions were removed and we will get a new GC within 60 days. No interview. Based on that they are obviously not interviewing all cases xfer'd to the field offices

Docs sent to vermont in April of last year. Once xfer'd to our local field office, it took less than a month to remove the conditions. Hopefully, it won't take the full 60 days to get the new GC

Well...did not take long to get my wife's green card. Yesterday we got the letter stating her conditions were being removed and today we got the GC. After reading all the reviews about how long this process takes, I certainly feel lucky to have this completed in less than a year.

Congrats! If you look up your case status online, did it change to something like "greencard shipped" or does it still say case moved to local office like earlier? I am just trying to figure out how fast or if they update the status once the greencard has been created and shipped.

Everyone here who has recently received their card needs to make sure their dates on it are correct. There are a few (possibly a lot) coming out with the incorrect resident since date. It should be the date you entered on your CR-1 or got approved for AOS. My one has the date my ROC was approved and they gave the card a validity of 10 years + two weeks. If your dates are incorrect, you can file an I-90 online and submit a service request on your I-751 case for typographical error on your permanent residence card. Not sure how widespread this is.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Recently I went to the DMV in Brooklyn to apply upgrade my DL to a Real ID DL, and was a little surprised. The 1 year extension letter for my temp GC that I received last year was to expire in few days and when I went in and provided all the documents to the clerk, he took my temp GC, which was expired and gave it to his supervisor who took it with him and didn't come back till 15 minutes. At this point I was scared to what was going on. And the supervisor came back, and gave the clerk the GC and few documents that he then gave me to hold. The document was actually was a verification done on my GC by SAVE. And the most surprising thing I read on the verification letter was that, DMV verified my GC and the result was that I'm a "permanent resident of USA".

Does this mean something? Anyone else had an experience going through this process?

I just checked and her resident since date does state the date of ROC instead of her AOS date which was on the original card. Also, I noticed it doesn't have her signature beneath her picture on the front of the card like her orig GC. Should there be a signature there?

Looks like USCIS is messing up a certain batch of Green Cards. Well, they are messing up everything.

I think you should definitely get the date fixed to the date of the AOS. Not exactly sure of the process, but I'm sure you'll find your answer if you search the forum.
