What was the extension letter application number for? Previously redundant, up until now. Something is definitely going on.

Our case status is the bio metrics number, however the case transfers are from your NOA1 number so for instance everything is correct the correct case transfers are WAC#

Doubtful. Not enough staff, The local offices only interview a percentage of the cases sent to them. They just authorize the rest.

Hopefully so. Still a concert for a people from big cities as its not even trackable from this point when your case will land in a hands of the officer.

 But have  you read an updated USICS mission statement and following discussion about it ? Or have you, among many others, been told during i 551 stamping that ALL i 751 woukd require an intervew? I did both, and being an individual who tends to think and analize the information, i dont see how my question is irrational.

It is clearly some sort of mass error. There simply isn't the workforce.

 

 

Neither of my I-751s have shown this either - the original one shows as 'we received your case on xxxx 2015' despite that one actually being at my local office and for interview and then being denied, and my 2017 one shows the same.

My husband is a September filer of 2017 and his just showed up as arriving at the local office today as well. I was not expecting this at all!

It might be an error, I suppose. But these mass transfers have happened before, to make it possible for CSC (or whatever office is hopelessly backlogged) to start showing better numbers. Ship out a ton of paper and suddenly CSC is back in line with VSC. Meanwhile, none of us can file anything anymore since the local offices don’t have a date listed for I-751s.

Yeah but in the past I believe that they have transferred from say CSC to VSC, ie major service centres, and not to applicants local offices which are slammed as it is.

So far, this has happened three days in a row.  I don't think Dallas has been updated, but as the week goes on, we will get multiple threads on the ROC topic (and perhaps on this thread) saying "Hey, what's going on?  My case was updated?"  By the end of the week, VJ will be getting more traffic.  If not, then it's a glitch.  If more people make this same comment, then the service centers en mass have been preparing our cases to be sent to the field offices and had probably sent the batch upon batches of petition packages late last week.  

 

If this is the case, I would be rather impressed by the logistics of USCIS who, when we filed, suffered from a struggling TSC to approve K-1 petitions for 10-13 months when our case at the CSC was approved within 18 days.  Hold tight to your NOAs!  Don't be the one that gets your petition lost in transition!

Exactly! Transfers used to happen in between cervice centers, not local offices.

And note: CSC AND(!) NSC applicants reporting the same status

Definetely NOT BOTH centers decided to transfer tons of cases to local offices to catch up on numbers.

I think its the new inner policy of mandatory interviews which ive been told during info pass

i checked my status and says it was transferred to my local office. I hope this doesn't mean that we will get an interview because i was pretty bad the first time, i was so nervous that i got sick after the interview.
