Thank you guys for all the details. I had difficulty to find people applying from Singapore as well.

I now know that I need to wait for this Package 3.

To be honest, I already pay the visa fee and did DS-160, copy of I-134 and his financial proofs, birth certificate translated, COC and so on..

I just need to receive this paper and then I can send everything.

Hopefully receiving the package won't take long and the interview as well..

Marie

@tiggermuffin I have the same date, the case was received today by the embassy. for the COC I saw you were asking, I did it in November already cause to apply I just sent a doc of K-1 visa requirements docs which show about police requirements like a online pdf and I upload it on COC website.

it took like 3 weeks total cause you need the appointment after that.

8 December 2018 - Case Number Received!

26 December 2018 - In Transit

3 Jan 2019 - Case received by US Embassy Singapore

Awesome thanks for the info! Also I am getting ready my documents even though I have not received Packet 3 yet, can I ask my fiance to send over his bank statement, letter of employment, etc now? Will the document still be valid when I date it next week even if I have my interview next month?

It will still be valid, yes. 🙂 Good luck!

I really hope so as well. I hope they will get the address right cause for me I tick Apt and then write 2 0701 when it was Tower 2 and unit 0701. Hopefully the postman will get it. I would like to know the same if it is in the mailbox or need signature..

you can try to submit this on the Coc website and see if it is ok. I’ll send to you the exact doc that I sent them tomorrow it’s on my other laptop

Thank you so much for this! I have attached the K3 letter (attached it here too) that I found online when I am appealing for my COC, hope this will suffice.

Just a question, how long did you take to get any replies about the appeal from the SPF? They only stated that the whole process takes 15 days but I am not sure on how long will I know about the outcome of my approval.

I appealed and like 3 days later I had a email and text to say I could do the application, which is the same docs +55$, 3 days later ok and then you can book your appointment for fingerprinted which was 2 weeks later but you can probably do it before if you’re flexible. And you get it on the spot after when you go to the police

I requested the tracking number from the US embassy, apparently it was suppose to be delivered today but I did not receive any package or delivery notice :( it has been forwarded to the nearest post office. Do you think I could collect it with my tracking number or do I need to request the package from the US embassy again?

i am so sorry for my tardiness. just go to the nearest post office and give them your tracking number if you have not yet received your package. Singpost is just super horrid about delivering mail, not realizing how important a mail piece can be to the receiver.

hey all we just called to NVC and they responded not process yet. but gave us a case number and invoice ID. i think i still cannot schedule medical appointment until i get packet 3?

for vaccinations, i have a question here. i don’t have any record for the past. i am right now back to my hometown in Malaysia. can i get my vaccinations here since it is cheaper? and then get the evidence to prepare for coming up medical examination...can i do that?

wells, i guess you can schedule a medical but you can't really go for one until you have a paper from packet 3. if youre taking your medical in Singapore, don't bother scheduling one in advance. when i called in to schedule, they told me i could come in within the week.

as for vaccinations, yes. just take them in Malaysia, make sure the doctor who administered them to you gives you vaccination certificates or a doctor's note and you can bring those to your medical in Singapore.

good luck!

Hi @JunYun!

Just to let you know, the NVC will deliver your case to the Singapore US Embassy every other week on either Tuesday or Wednesday. Mine was delivered on 26 Dec so I am guessing that the next batch of delivery will be from 23/24 Jan.

You can still schedule your medical appointment even before your case has reached the US embassy because it takes a while for them to schedule your appointment as of this period. For me, I scheduled my appointment end of last month and the earliest I got was this coming Wednesday. So I'd suggest you to make an appointment soon :) I asked the clinic and they are fine with us submitting the letter from that the NVC will email once your package has been delivered (aka, in transit). I think what they want from the letter is your unique case number!

I will let you know the list of vaccines needed! I'd suggest you to take you vaccines at polyclinic first as you can claim some from Medisave! If not, it will be definitely be cheaper than taking in Fullerton.
