Hi everyone,

Trying to get ahead a little bit on paperwork needed for Mexico Consulate interview.  Does anyone know which affidavit of support they require? I'm finding conflicting information on USCIS website.  Any help or experience with this is appreciated. Thank you!

You should think about joining your VJ sub forum for all things dealing with the US Embassy in Mexico most there will help answer your questions for the processing of your visa using their personal experience.

And your P3 letter is located here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cBWgGJr4a5ay3b4OV28_dC3pgf63ZUr-/view?usp=sharing

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for you country so that you are up to speed.

For all things dealing with the US Embassy in Canada head on over to the subforum for Canada where they will answer your questions for the processing of your visa from their personal experience. Link:

Get the Canadian K1 P3 letter at http://photos.state.gov/libraries/canada/303578/montreal/Packet3-K1-MTL.pdf as this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa. The required documents are included and use the P3 as a check list. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview. If it is not on the Embassy letter, it probably is not needed.

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for you country so that you are up to speed.

Thank you!! This is super helpful. Also just came across the August 2018 NOA2 group as well👌

No it doesn't take any longer then just a K-1 with no derivatives. Also, you may not have this information but I will give it to you. Forgive me if I have repeated my self.

Once you receive your case number it's time to be in charge of what time you choose when things get down. To smooth that trail for your I have a few things that will help you process your visa there in the Philippines.

Start by visiting Hanks site where he has taken the time and research, and of course it helps if you spent 8 plus years helping folks in the Philippines sub-forum get their visas, where he has listed each step. With those steps he includes the what, when and why to completing the item. Many have used the website and have had little or NO problems securing a visa from USEM.

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Next you'll want to connect with those who are processing through the Philippines in the VJ Philippines sub-forum that way you will be with like minded ppl who are sharing their experiences and also asking and answering questions. Since most in this thread are processing through another country they would be hard pressed to explain what is needed for the Philippines.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

You'll find this on Hank's website but I will give it to you early and that is the Packet 3 Letter for USEM. It's found here:

https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/

Here is the Packet 3 letter.

https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/K1-and-K2-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-336KB.pdf

There you have it. Everything you need to get your visa. Good luck and smooth sailing.

Hi Greenbaum,

Thanks for sharing your knowledge and information regarding Phils filers. It has been a huge help for me and my fiancee!

Fallow the noa 2 forum and you will get a lot of support I fallow one for our country and I know that once the NVC case goes from in transit to ready screen shot it and then you can at that time complete the DS 160 and schedule the interview and once you have your case invoice number the petitioner can request packet 3 to be emailed to them from the embassy and you must include case invoice number along with the attachment of your  screen shot I don’t know how every embassy works but I do know a lot of people in the forum for our country did it that way I really made things go faster also it helps to find out what doctors give the results faster in your country of the list I have seen packet three for our country so we already know what doctor so fallow a forum and you will get an exact idea from your country and the embassy site best of luck and congratulations

How do I find the noa2 forum for my fiancé’s country? And how do I find out which doctors are quicker with results..

On the menu at the top go to portals and then search your country and then search for forum or just search your country k1 so then people are just posting at all phases well that’s how mine is as far as the doctor I got the list of doctors on the embassy page for our country and then asked some other people why doctor they used .

Try to search packet 3 for 129 f for your country on google you will find it but I’m sure that your country has a forum

Yes. Old website is down and as casetracker app is linked with old website so that is down as well.

However, new website is working fine

Just a quick question: I see everyone posting screenshots from the USCIS app that show their approval. I don't have the app, and I only remember to check their desktop site every couple of days. If I get approved, will I get a text? (I got a text for the NOA1 since I signed up for text/email alerts). If so, any idea how much of a lag there is between the approval being posted online and the texts being sent out?

Hey!

We got (in order):

1. The USCIS text message

2. The USCIS email

and THEN the app update.

:)

It’s not a app. The apps no longer work as they were ran off of the old system. Uscis uses the new system which, requires the user to login every time and receive a 1 time pass code.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

No one has been able to explain why or why not.
