My fiance and I are due with our first child in June. I have mentally prepared myself for him not being here in the United States for the birth of our child. However I have had friends and family ask me why I gave not called USCIS to tell them our situation. In my thoughts everyone's situation is unique so why would they treat ours any different. My question for you filers would it benefit me if I decided to call USCIS to look at our documentation? Would it be worth it?

Unfortunately being pregnant does not make ur case any more special then anyone else. If pregnancy was a factor. Everyone would be getting pregnant to get here asap.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Oh trust i know that is why i mentioned i have mentally prepared myself for him not being here. Life happens and we will roll with the punches. Hopefully in late summer early winter we will all see our significant others. Hoping the best for everyone as I truly understand these are trying times.

Went and spoke to lawyer today. He acknowledged it was his mistake.

Then he informs me that I need register of conviction certified criminal record certified and a certified copy of divorce decree. After running all over southern Michigan today and gathering all the documents and spending  $80 for them all. Thinkwe r all set.

He did fill out a new/amended i129 and stated at the end it was his oversight on missing documents and incorrect information. As i had informed him prior to everything.

He wasn't aware that u had made the mistake until he was denied. From the sounds of it there is no fixing it on his end. Just habe to start all over.

I’m very sorry to hear you have to go through all of that this process is stressful as it is and the last thing you want is the lawyer you pay to help you push you back further. I hope is smooth sailing from this point on

Thanks. Now all we can do is sit back and see what uscis has to say about it.

Lawyer did state tho, if denied he would refund me all his fees.

Yes they are done with October. Ours should be August. And if we are lucky, some of us, we can get a news in July. But mathematically is August.
