Hi Sukie,

 

Yeah, I went to an Infopass about a month ago. I was in and out in 2 seconds flat. They said they were backlogged and that I should hear something in a month or two. My office is definitely not backlogged.

 

My guess is that your initial appointment is made by the NBC. If you're foolish enough to ask for a re-schedule like me, you put the power of reschedule into the hands of the local office ... Need I say more.

 

I wrote to them again yesterday, asking very politely WTH is going on.

So do you live in Dayton, and you are having to go to Cincy for all of this stuff?  Lived in Cincy for a couple of years...

Yes live in Dayton and having to travel to Cincy for each office visit. It’s only an hour drive but it’s just all so frustrating lol.

Cincy is a cool city though :-)

Hello Everyone, hope everyone is doing well  just wanted to share my timeline (for New York) once again and update on my interview today. My priority date is Feb 16,2018. Did walk in biometrics on March 9th at Portchester ASC location. June 12th Interview was schedule for July 17th. I went to my interview this morning and initially was told " a decision cannot yet be made" because a supervisor would have to sign off on a ticket I got about 2 years ago for tinted windows. I asked the IO when I could expect to receive a decision and she told me 4-6 weeks. About 30 minutes later I received 2 text messages that my account had been updated. First message said I was recommended for approval and then 2nd msg said I am in line for my oath ceremony.

after my N400 intreview last week, last night I got an update on the pending ROC that "card is in production". N400 is still "scheduled your intreview". I wonder if they'll actually produce a useless piece of plastic?

Maybe when you hand it over at your oath, they update your ROC receipt number to say 'card has been destroyed' ? :-)

that would be a waste of time and resources... but maybe they don't want me to ask for a refund if I never see the card

This makes me nervous I got two tickets from 10 years ago one for speeding and one for running a red light ( accident). I paid all the fines asap.  I hope I don’t get denied

This is something new to know about the traffic tickets and it needs to be signed off by the interviewer supervisor. That makes me nervous and worried about my 100+ speed ticket I got 3 years ago and it was paid in full at the time of conviction.

For what it's worth, my interview was last week. I had a ticket (neither DUI nor speeding nor running a red light, but a moving violation) within the past year, and the interviewer neither cared about any paperwork about it, nor was my approval delayed - I got an approval indication in my N-652 , and my oath letter in the mail notice the next morning.
