Hello! I am a October filer! I was looking up the I-29F Processing Time at Service Centers --> I-129F NOA1 to NOA2 (Approval) Time and I saw that CSC is taking 194 days and they are still on the June filers. It says that VSC is taking 87 days and they are already on October filers... Can I transfer my case to VSC? My I-129f is currently at CSC.. I was just confused how one place is taking such a shorter time. Thanks for the help!

PS ( I will include link to where I found the info ) http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1historical

No. Transfers are done by USCIS based on their workload management.

Secondly, I-129Fs for a K-1 are processed only by CSC. VSC doesn't take in I-129Fs for a K-1 except in circumstances where additional background checks are needed (usually AWA crimes). You don't want to be transferred to VSC for an I-129F, trust me.

I didn't know, thanks! Then why is VSC taking such a short time compared the CSC?

I think those stats are more along the lines of there being so few applications in total that go to VSC. I did a timeline search (http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/filterlist.php) and only see 7 such timelines on VJ since Jan 1st 2017. Of those, only 1 was approved after 87 days. Four of them look to be bad data entry. The other 2 have been pending for about a year with no NOA2 yet (or they decided not to update their profile).

Don’t let it get transferred, it could take even longer, be content with the place you have now, it’s also easier for them to process since they don’t have to look for your case all over the offices, or worst case they loose it & it takes longer & longer , leave it where it is if they need to transfer it then on their own orders don’t make it more complicated. Just hang on a few months is nothing compared to the rest of your life.

We haven’t been transferred that we know of at least!

That is a good thing.  I really think things will start to pick up soon.  There will still be a few of us stragglers but the vast majority will see some decent processing times.
