Nebraska Service Center
PD - January 22, 2018

NOA2 - August 27

NVC sent - August 31

Received hard copy of NOA2 - Sept.4

Congratulations!!!!    I feel like I am the only January (12) 2018 Filer that has not been approved.  I am so sad.  I am at Nebraska as well and they have already approved many February 2018 applicants.   So I have been told, the country can cause a delay.   I was so hoping my husband would be here before our first anniversary 11/26/2018, looks doubtful.  I pre-planned and rented us an apartment for October but looks like I will be in this big 2 bedroom aprtment all alone for some time.

I hope so too! I'm really hoping for a CC before Moscow starts scheduling their interviews. We would have submitted ours a week prior but we were waiting on the police certificate 😕

Soon our spouses will be with us, and finally get to start our lives again.

Check your NVC case. I just checked mine this afternoon Eastern time and the documents are approved. Just waiting for the consulate appointment information now. This morning it was still pending

How are you checking your NVC status?

Did they assign you to electronic processing or through postal mail?

If you are using electronic, just log in as you would to submit the documents and check if the status has changed to accepted or if you have new messages from them.

If you are using postal mail then I'm not really sure how to check other than calling them.

If you are not sure, call them. The hold time is not too bad and they all seem to be very nice New Englanders in that call center. Very helpful people.

Okay, don't give up on those calls. They are very slow to communicate with you about any issues. You want to catch any issues or problems as soon as possible.

Hi guys my I-130 was approved on August 24 2018(hard copy) and August 27( new website). It’s already been 2 weeks on to 3 weeks and still haven’t got any mails or emails from NVC on wether they received my case from USCIS. I called NVC on September 10th( 2 weeks after case was approved) I was told that they have not received anything as yet and that it may take up to 6 weeks for them to receive the case from uscis. Is that normal? For those of you who cases was received by NVC how long after your approval did they received your case? I will give NVC a call back on Monday sept 17th.

Thanks for your responses in advance

That's what happened to me, but Texas took nearly a month to send mine and a few weeks for NVC to receive. Since my case is a pivot case it took about 3 weeks for case number. More info in my signature.

My case was sent to NVC on 8/6 (from Texas) and NVC received it on 8/15. I received my case number on September 5th after waiting only 20 days. You might want to call NVC and see if you're going to have an electronic case. They told me by the first week that my case would be electronically processed, even though they still didn't have my case number.

Yeah I was told this too when I called. I was surprised to hear it could take 6 weeks, but it turned out not to be the case for us. USCIS did take 2 weeks to send our case over and they received it a week later. Hopefully you'll hear something soon.
