Hey I called USCIS to follow up if they transfer my application and I was told yes. Then I called the NVC to and they received it a week later. The are in the process of entering into their system - which takes about 8 weeks to generate an invoice number. I'm so super excited.... ha ha ha if you have some free time call as well to follow up. I usually call at 8 a.m. in the mornings the connection to a USCIS representative is fairly quick... Good luck...

Hey it’s been 4 weeks since my application has been approved and i call NVC this past Monday on the 17th of September and they told me that they have not received my case as yet that it may take up to 6weeks. How long from approval did your case took before nvc received it. Your response will be much appreciated and helpful. Thank you!

So I130 was approved 8/23/18 and (12 days) later USCIS transferred 9/10/18 to NVC it was receive 9/17/18 (7days) now I was told to allow 8 weeks is the allotted time frame for case to put into their system and then an invoice number will generate. So we’re close but not there yet. Like I suggest from earlier call USCIS tell them your inquiring if your petition was transferred to NVC then after that call NVC to see if they received the case.

I called NVC today and I was told to wait 6 weeks it’s already been 4 weeks. I will give thisthis week more and on Monday I will call back nvc if they say the same thing again then I will call USCIS. Another thing I think it’s depends on the service center too on how long they take to transfer cases. I’m at Texas service center.

I was just noticing your prority date is in February.. That could be why the wait too all we can do is speculate and share our journey..I truly think you should call USCIS first to see if they made the transfer? Give it time we have waited long enough a little more time won’t hurt 😁 take it easy and keep in touch..

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
