Good day sir,so I called NVC twice earlier today ..

1st lady asked me date I submitted my DS260, I told her .. then she said all is fine and it’s going in order by my scan date and it’ll take about 11 weeks to be reviewed from that date..
( I called again to be sure all is really fine with my Ds260)

2nd lady.. I asked her if my DS260 is showing on their system, she told me No, but it doesn’t mean they don’t have it and since i got a Confirmation for it then everything is fine ..It will be reviewed, it takes 11weeks to review the mail and I should wait patiently.

I’m quite confused with NVC processing coz I’ve seen someone with same scan date of Dec 29 get cc on Jan 19 and mine isn’t even in the review yet.

I agree that it is very hard to wait for something so exciting....but my husband and I have a scan date of December 8, 2017 with a DS-260 submission of December 1, 2017 and we still have yet to be reviewed. The NVC works in mysterious ways, you just have to be patient. Unless it crosses 11 weeks you can't really complain much as nothing really changes. If they do decide to expedite your petition for any reason, that is pushing people with a scan date much earlier back and causing more headache for everyone involved on both ends. Everyone's time comes, we also had the same issue with the DS-260 someone replied to one of my comments stating they were told there was a glitch in the system but all is worked on and fine. I also called about it and was told the same thing, after a bit longer, maybe after a week, call them and ask if your petition was sent to review and if so,  what is the date it was sent there, that will ease your worries a bit (mine was only sent there January 26th) they seem to be slowing down for some reason. It is extremely infuriating, I agree, but all will be okay, I promise.

Thank You so much, I’m happy someone understands.

I called yesterday, i asked the rep if my case is in the review department yet and she replied “No, it’s on queue and takes 11 weeks to be reviewed”  ..then I asked if my ds260 is showing in their system and she replied “yes, it is” .. So hopefully it’ll be reviewed and I’ll get cc soonest.

I pray you also get good news real quick 🙏🏻.. Hang in 🤞🏻

Hello everyone,

I am very happy for those who already got an appointment date. I am still waiting for my husband's appointment date for his interview in the Peruvian embassy. The whole process has been so overwhelming and stressful. I am a graduate student who cannot focus on anything else but checking all day long for any news about our case. My case was completed last January 25th. Good luck to everyone!!!

Has anyone, by any chance, had something accidentally incorrect on their DS-260? For example, a question was answered incorrectly regarding if my husband has ever applied for a tourist visa before. I have a lawyer so this was her assistant's mistake. When I called to question this, she told me to take that page, mark the correct answer, state the dates, and have him sign/date beside the question and to present it to the interviewer. She also answered the question where it asks if he speaks more than one language wrong and his birth city wrong. ughhh. I didn't see the DS-260 until she gave it to me to take to the interview which is next week. Is this something I really need to worry about or am I stressing too much? TIA

it is not a problem my husband's lawyers did the same his assistant filed out DS-260 with many mistakes too, on the interview day they only corrected the address that was wrong nothing else and he got approved.
