Flynn lying to the FBI I don't particularly care about. What you say to the FBI doesn't change what actually happened. I mean yes obviously you should tell the truth, but the actual events are more important in the grand scheme of things.

 

What I care about is what he is "bargaining" with to get a deal. I think that is what most people here care about as well.

Entered into a plea deal, obviously Flynn is going to cooperate to protect his son and himself from more severe charges. Donnie is running scared, next up on the chopping block will be his son in law.

Not only a very criminal violation of the USC, in the email scandal you mention with possible charges of treason atttached, and a long prison sentence, but I also seem to recall a president almost getting impeached for lying.

 

Seems it’s a lot safer, legally, to lie while being democrat than while republican.

This is definitely going to lead to the downfall of Trump.  This has to be it, no doubt.  He will never survive this.  

 

On a more serious note, Flynn is pleading guilty to a process crime - lying under oath, about something that isn't at all a crime.  There is nothing wrong with an incoming National Security Adviser meeting or talking with representatives of foreign governments.  Again, that is not a crime.  The incoming President elect directing his transition team to speak to representatives of foreign governments is also not a crime.  But don't let facts get in the way of liberal pipe dreams.

 

What exactly is the criminal scheme that liberals think Trump is involved in?  I've always been confused about that part of the entire issue.  Can anyone make a rational and logical argument detailing exactly what they think Trump did that was illegal?  Let's hear it.

Lying to a law enforcement agency, even if you haven't committed an actual crime, is a serious crime and anyone who does it deserves to go to jail.  

 

I would love to hear what criminal scheme you think Trump was involved in, if you think he was.  He has never been interviewed by the FBI for anything, so lying to the FBI is off the table.  Lying to the American people isn't a crime.  If it were, prisons would be full of politicians from both political parties - including Bush, Cheney, Bill Clinton, Obama, and Hilary.  Anyone who believes this investigation will eventually involve Trump being indicted, has to believe that he has committed a crime - otherwise what for would he be indicted?
