So I'm guessing i shouldn't be expecting a text/email NOA anymore since it's been almost 2 days since my card was charged and no noa yet.. Anyone knows if Dallas sends acceptance notifications by text/email? Maybe they are not :/

9/19/2014: AOS Package (i130, i485, i765 and i131) sent to Chicago lockbox using USPS Certified mail

12/3/2014: EAD and Advanced Parole in Production :dancing:

Ya it's really weird maybe it changed or something. When I filed for AOS in 2014, I had notifications the moment AOS package was accepted. I'm also in same boat as you. I haven't received any notification though package was received on Tuesday the 5th. I checked my credit card today and the charge has been run through though by USCIS and it shows a pending transaction by them for $725. Maybe we'll get it soon though either way I'm not too concerned as its been received and processed either way. Another thing worth noting is many NBC paper filers now are receiving notices with IOE receipt #'s. This trend started in October and don't be surprised if it happened to you as well. For some reason USCIS is digitally changing the paper forms to electronic ones upon receiving. Some have been sent to Harrisburg processing center.

8/18/2014: Accepted in Chicago. Transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

8/21/2014: Received NOA 1. I-130, I-485, I-765 in mail.

8/25/2014: Received biometrics in mail. Scheduled for 9/8/2014

9/24/2014: EAD approved. 36 Days!

10/01/2014: EAD mailed.

10/03/2014: Received EAD card.

10/14/2014: I-485 moved to testing and interview.

1/28/2015: Interview scheduled for 3/4/2015.

1/31/2015: Received interview notice.

3/4/2015: Interview completed and APPROVED!

Hmm just got a text and email notification and it says the same think.. IOE receipt number and was send to Harrisburg processing center for processing :/ no idea if that's a good or bad thing.. we can only pray at this point lol

Also upon checking on uscis.gov it says: On December 6, 2017, we received your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization , Receipt Number IOE-xxxxxxx, and mailed you a receipt notice. It is being processed at our Integrated Operating Env location. The notice describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

 

Keyword here is "Integrated Operating Env location"..

Yup, it's same thing as Harrisonburg processing center. Intergrated Operating Environment (IOE) gets done there where paper files are digitally converted to electronic ones. USCIS is trying to switch to paper filing.

Is it normal that uscis status message title says "Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was Emailed" ... i mean, "emailed" ? does that mean i shouldn't expect a receipt notice in the actual mail?

You should definitely also receive a hard copy by mail. Happens to even those who E file. They get an electronic notification as well as a hard copy by mail.

Fingerprints are scheduled on 12/19 for the online document, I have received the hard copy of the NOA but not the hard copy of the biometric just yet. 

 

1) Could I go and do the biometric with the printed copy of the letter I can find on the USCIS website? Or do I need to wait for the hard copy?

2) Shouldn't the NOA and the biometric letters get to me together?

You can print out the electronic one and go for it if you wish.

Got texts and email notifications today that case was accepted on the 7th. As speculated receipt # is IOE and has been sent to Harrisonburg Storage Center for processing.
