if I recall correctly from all other cases that I know from Bangladesh, only visa applicant (in your case, you) will be present during interview

Case got completed in just 4 weeks on the dot.Wow NVC is really moving fast these days. 

 

Now it's time to wait for that interview to be scheduled. Anyone from the Philippines who got their interview scheduled yet?

OMG Appointment letter is coming in the mail today after I spent $300 on a ticket to fly there this week.

 

Will be interesting to see if its any different than what I got at the consulate.

 

There was really no way to tell, but its just about 4 weeks.

Part of the issue may have also been their systems were having problems cause I saw others were having long waits getting their visas and were told the same.

 

Really could have used that money for the flight to the actual interview. They want $450 right now from Mexico City for our date.

 

I guess I just should be happy I have it.

Received case and invoice numbers: 9/12/2017

Choice of Agent DS-261: 9/12/2017

Welcome Letter: 9/15/2017

Received and Paid AOS: 9/15/2017    AOS payment cleared my bank: 9/19/2017 (still shows In Process on CEAC)

Received and paid IV bill: 9/19/2017    IV bill cleared bank: 9/21/2017

Requested Expedite: 9/20/2017

AOS and IV show as paid: 9/23/2017

DS260 unlocked: 9/23/2017

Partial Expedite Approved at Counselor Level: 9/25/2017 (Must still wait out NVC)

Scan Date: 10/2/2017    Case Complete: 11/15/2017 (6 weeks 2 days!)

Case sent to consulate: 11/20/2017     Received by consulate: 11/21/2017 (11/20 was a holiday in Mexico)

Interview Scheduled: Jan 2nd - I managed to get someones canceled appointment the very same day my case status turned to Ready.

Biometrics: Mexico City Dec 27th Medical: Mexico City Dec 28th

Case says READY but consulate says case is not in system, I jumped the gun and booked an interview but they say its invalid until I receive the letter so I might have to cancel it.

Appointment Letter: Flew to Juarez just to get this, its actually 2 letters you need.

Interview Day: Jan 2nd   Interview Result: APPROVED

Tracking Number Received: Via email notice and website the afternoon of Jan 4th    Visa Delivered: Friday Jan 5th Mexico City

USCIS Notice - Green Card mailed: 3/28/18

Oh it really went well o , I posted it here but anyways the questions re the normal questions. These are the questions 

 

1. Who is filling for you?

2. How/ when do you meet?

3. What kind of marriage was done?

4. When/How did you get married?

5. Where does your spouse live?

6. Where does she work and the nature of her job?

7. Time different between you guys?

8. Has she been married before?

9. Any kids between you guys, if yes you need to tell CO there names and age?

10. CO will request for the wedding picture which u need to identify some people

 

 

Thats all, the interview took me about 1mins 59seconds but the waiting took about 6hours before been interviewed

My hubby is scheduled for his interview!!! He is from Northern Ireland, so he will have to interview in London.  

 

CC: 12/8/17

Interview scheduled: 12/15/17

Interview date: 1/29/18 

 

 

02/2011 - Met online, ages 16 & 19.

04/2011 - Declared our love for each other.

06/2012 - He visits me in America for the first time.

12/2012 - I spend Christmas with him in Northern Ireland.

07/2013 - Try to visit him in Northern Ireland again, but denied entry.

07/2013 - He makes emergency trip to America and PROPOSES!!!

04/30/14 - We say "I do"!

~He makes several more visits to America over next couple of years while we establish careers and save money~

01/28/17 - I-130 mailed

01/30/17 - I-130 Received

02/03/17 - NOA1

Currently - Waiting patiently. <3
