NVC (November 2017 Approvals)

Approved on November 20th. I have called NVC only to find out that it has not even arrived yet. It has been a month now.

I would recommend it just to make sure USCIS didn't send your paperwork to the NRC like they did for some of us.  If it gets sent to the NRC you get to wait another 7 weeks on top of the time you've already waited.

Looks like 2 more people with NOA2 from Oct 30 got a case number Monday and yesterday:

So what I want to know is, were they in the same shipment with people with NOA2s from Oct 30 who got their case number a week ago? Was NVC slow to process them? Or did USCIS not sent all Oct 30 petitions at the same time?

Guys @vml finally got a case number today. NOA2: Oct 31. Any Nov. 1 people want to try again today? I called this morning and mine still isn't there, but my NOA2 is Nov 3. Praying for us.

Received an email from NVC research says they recently received my petition and expect instructions within 4 to 5 weeks and to email in 5 weeks if nothing received. 

 

is that the normal response from them or is 4 - 5 weeks the new normal to get a case number ?

NVC received today, but they haven't completed entering into the system. NOA2  - Oct 31. NVC received - Dec 20. will call tomorrow to see if they have entered into the system and generated case number

the letter is dated October 28th , the online approval says October 30th ....

I think as long the NVC has your application you should be fine. mine was from 11/07 and still at the USCIS.

GUYS NVC FINALLY RECEIVED MY PETITION!!!!

 

Same as @kannan, no case number yet but at least it is received THANK THE LORD. NOA2: Nov 3

 

I will also be trying back every day now for a case number, although the rep told me "it takes up to 2 weeks to receive a case number" but w/e it looks like most people are getting it faster than that. So relieved it is at NVC at least.

 

Early Nov people I would call them now. I called at 8 am EST and they didn't have it, and called just now at 2:20 pm EST and they have mine. Call and check!!

Guys it's raining at NVC today! Just checked @Shoegum's spreadsheet and 6 of us got good news from NVC today! Other early Nov NOA2 people should call and check too!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Thank God. This is a good sign, hopefully before Christmas most of us would have received good news from NVC. I noticed based on @shoegum spreadsheet, you sent an email to NVC research did they ever get back to you?
