It takes 2-4 years for the I-751 application now!?  :wow::wow::wow:

I hope I have some good news in the next 3-6 months!  :dancing:   Fingers crossed!

Yes, 2 to 4 years for 751 at field offices. Obviously, Trump admin sees the increasing surge of applicants who apply for 400 while 751s are pending, and 751s in this case will end up at field offices being combined with 400. That is why you have this new and arbitrary normal processing time creation of 2 to 4 years for "751 at field offices". It is so obvious they did that to discourage people from applying 400 while 751 is pending. Typical Trump's anti immigration shenanigan. This is all caused by CSC screw up, and applicants are paying the price. I sure hope you will hear from them soon. Fingers crossed.

Looks like snail mail will get to me before USCIS has the opportunity to upload my oath ceremony letter in my online document tab! LOL

On pins and needles to know for when I will actually be scheduled, hoping for NO travel arrangements rescheduling necessary.

I don't think that is true, 2-4 years is kinda funny thing :D

06/21/2018 The combo interview (with N-400 interview). But it's still pending until they send me the result of this interview.

I did apply for my N-400 1 month ago, while my ROC is still pending. Then yesterday I received a notice that my I-751 was transferred to other office.

I just got the oath ceremony notification, but I will have to fill out a form at the ceremony, disclosing the death of my husband and they will deny my 400. I wish they would just deny me already.

Why would they deny you? Just because your circumstances changed, during the process doens't mean you are not eligible. Nothing says if your spouse dies, the 3 year is out the window.

Wow, what a slap in the face... :(

I did a bit more research (like you did already), and also read about the ineligibility due to the death of the US spouse:

Hi folks. I have a I-751 pending since January 18, 2017 and a N-400 since February 2, 2018.

I received two USCIS notifications this morning (well, actually three, one was a duplicate).  One was the weekly "We're still reviewing your case, blah blah...". The other two, both generated at 5.27AM this morning, stated that there was an action on my case. I checked online and found that they have transferred my I-751 to another USCIS office for processing. There was nothing new under the N-400. I am prone to think that both of the cases have been transferred, hence the double notification.  I am hoping that is the case.  Anyway, at least it's movement...

Should get some snail mail this week!

ROC

01/18/2017   Sent in I-751

01/26/2017   Check cashed

01/28/2017   Received NOA dated 01/20/2017

02/16/2017   Biometrics done

10/24/2017   Traveled to Minneapolis for I551 stamp

02/26/2018     Case received by Field Office - S. Paul

05/012018     Case transferred to another USCIS office for processing

N-400

02/02/2018    Filed N-400 online

02/05/2018    NOA online - NOA letter 02/09/2018

02/21/2018     Biometrics walk-in

Because INA 319 section D. They will deny me, I have to fill out form 445, it will ask if I am recently widowed, I will check yes, and they will deny my naturalization. Just the law unfortunately.

Just going to the Oath. You'd never know if they will make any exception for your case. I would believe there is some humanity in this world not ruling by the documents.

I hope you are right, but they have to follow the law. I will just do whatever I am supposed to do and see what happens, they will deny me by law. Thanks for your kind words and support though. I wish they would just deny me already which I had been expecting, but obviously, my case was so rare that it reveals USCIS's incompetence. Unlikely there will be an exception though.
