OP - ppl that send back the same package they got back with the new current forms are also fine. If you don't have or don't want to make new copies of supporting documents it is absolutely not required in any way.

Hi, I also had my first package returned to me for the same reason but I was smart enough to have an exact copy of the application with all the supporting documents so all that I had to do was to replace the form and make a copy of the package that I already had...I would suggest to send a new package as for my experience it worked well and actually gave me the chance to look at everything again, I ended up finding some misspelling and other errors...I had no RFE or delays on my process so far and just received my EAD...just do not forget the green letter that you have to place on top of your application. :)

Good luck!!!

Thank you so much , Godbless and Goodluck to you too 😊😊😊

Your I485 was rejected because you used an outdated form.

The other applications EAD and AP both require an active I495 in order to be processed

Resubmit the application using the correct form. Send all the associated documents as previously submitted. Resend the AP and EAD applications and associated documents with the new package. You can send the documents you previously sent

This is  easily done correctly now that you know what the problem is.  It is a standard response to the use of an outdated form

Do i need to do another new AED and AP forms or just the old form that USCIS returned to me?. 😊

The letter you quoted in your first post has "outdated forms" and "wrong fee" - what is the amount of the cheque you sent?

It says:

‱This is in reference to the I-485, Application to register permanent residence or adjust status, you submitted. Your I-485, fees, and any supporting documentation is being returned to you for the following reason(s):

The application/petition was filed on an outdated version of this form. Please resubmit your application/petition on the current version of this form with the appropriate fees to the address listed on the bottom of this page.

Please be sure to complete the application fully, submit the appropriate fees, and include all required supporting documentation.

That is the exact words written in the NOA rejection notice.. 😔 that is the second noa rejection notice.. i checked all the forms before and it was updated..

But then again, it’s still rejected..

That is strange indeed. Did you include a cover letter with the package explaining the resubmission? Without looking through your documents it's impossible to say if it's you or them that has made a mistake.. but it is strange that they are sending the same explanation when you have updated the form.

All you can do is thoroughly triple check and re-submit. There is really no other advice to give.
