Letter Of Noir?

Hello 

My friend's case cr1 was refused in us consulate  and swnt back to uscis and today she got letter of Noir after waiting one year. Please what is letter of noir? And what is next step she should do?

The NOIR is the Notice of intent to revoke.  This is what she has been waiting for.  When it is received it will tell her why the petition was denied and what she needs to prove to get the petition reaffirmed.  Make sure to read each part of the letter carefully and address each and every issue.  It is now her turn to prove to USCIS that it was a mistake for the embassy to send it back and now they are able to give there side of the story.  We went through the same thing.  Its a long process but it can be done.  My husband is finally here with me but it took alot of time and effort.  Good luck

And NOIR is better than NOID

She needs to send in additionl evidence to prove what they say is wrong

send evidence to the office in the US and prove embassy wrong

Did you READ the letter.  It explains why the visa was denied.  Sounds like a tough one to me particularly given the Moroccan could not articulate any plans for the future and no traditional marriage ceremony for his first marriage.

To start, "I need some help." is not a helpful subject line.  It says nothing about your issue.  Are you the same person somebody else was posting about earlier, saying their "friend" received an NOIR?  If so, we've seen what it says and I responded to it.  I'm going to recommend that a moderator combine these threads if they are about the same NOIR.

 

Are they?  Does your NOIR, among other things reference the petitioner being 10 years older and the beneficiary not being able to talk about any future plans you have as a couple.  Did it also mention not having a traditional marriage ceremony?

Might be the same NOIR but this is the petitioner, not a "friend".

Yes, and if so, my personal opinion is that the couple is all but SOL.  (Simply out of luck)  There are several reasons listed, and even if only three (and there definitely are at least three and probably four) of the reasons is valid, I think their chances of a reaffirmation are a little less than 50/50 even with the best of professional help and chances of actually getting the visa are less than 10%.  The fourth reason I didn't mention specifically in the other thread is the social media targeting of women outside his geographical area.

That's the one that got my attention, too........that one could be catastrophic........Disclaimer:  I am neither an attorney nor expert regarding visas.
