Everyone goes through administrative processing after a visa interview. Sometimes it's short for some people, while others may face a longer AP. It's only been about 7 working days. Hang in there and do not buy your flight ticket or quit your job until the passport is back in your hand with the visa.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Hi there!!

he didn't even give me a pamphlet though, so do you think it will be fine? he said your visa approved and wait for 2-3 days to collect your passport in EMPOST..

You mean the 221(g)? Well, you said you have everything so that means you don't have anything missing. If you don't have anything missing, why would they give you the slip? As mentioned earlier, EVERYONE goes through administrative processing, not just people who missed some documents etc.

If you are still worried, try to contact the embassy to follow up :)

Yeah, that's why you can just sit back and wait for now :) When it changes to non-immigrant - administrative processing, that means the visa is very close to being issued.

Are you sure it changed to Immigrant? A k1 visa is a nonimmigrant visa. Have you called the Consulate?

I'm confused.. doesn't the K1 visa give you NON immigrant status which you can then adjust? Why would his status show immigrant?

K1's are processed for the Immigrant Visa Unit. The tracker is going to show the visa as Immigrant until close to the very end and before being issued, when it will change to Non-Immigrant.
