Do not loose hope, wait for the reply from the embassy. Call the ticket agent and let them know now you will change the date so that you will not loose all the money just a little fee for changing the dates. I am sorry you have to go through this

Thank you, but due to we don´t know anything and we are in a limbo, I can´t take the risk of loosing (again) the money of the flight ticket, will be like booking it 3 times due to the airline that I choosed the change of date charges up to 75% of the total amount of the flying ticket! So it´s better loose it than change the date, I will be a NO SHOW at the airport... Once that I have visa in hand we will re book the flight again! I wasn´t expecting this, let´s see what the embassy says, at this time yesterday they "touched" the case, still on AP but changed the date, today nothing and it´s 1 week since the interview! And the flying ticket is for friday at 12:30 PM they close the counter!

Yes you have to send a copy of the biography page of your passport. With it being in your maiden name it should not be a problem. I know you filed in your married name but you still put your maiden name on form I 130  as previously name used. With me I filed in my maiden name.
