I figure this counts as a "Hot Social Topic"

 

Who else is watching? It's interesting now that there is no book material to go off of.

 

Any thoughts? I felt the naval battle on Sunday night was rather weak. GoT used to be good at offing key characters you wouldn't expect. Sand Snakes were definitely C characters, and even the Greyjoys I feel have become rather B characters so their suffering doesn't have much impact.

 

Though great moment with Theon proving he truly has no balls

I remember my roommate in Medical School started reading the books. After he finished the first one I borrowed it. I was hooked after he killed off the main character. It made many similar decisions over the course of the first few books.

 

Since becomming a TV show, and since surpassing the storyline from the books, it has become more and more a "typical" fantasy epic with very little "risk" for any main characters anymore.

I stumble across certain pictures related to this (encompasses but a tiny fraction of my collection of unmentionables), but don't care at all about the show -- not much of a TV person since I was a kid.

Love the show and I have to agree that the naval battle was weak by GOT standards.

 

Two episodes in and only four to go, they better do something quick and and get the story moving.

I thought this season had 8 episodes and next season had 6. I could be wrong but I think I'm right.

You and your walking dead lol...my wife and I just recently started watching Handmaid's Tale...seems decent so far.

The Walking Dead is to repetitive for me so I stopped watching. I like Tyrion as well because he reminds me of myself minus the messing with prostitutes and drinking. But he is always underestimated and over-performing and I feel like that as well.

Seems we are both wrong, 7 episodes in this season.
