I send my i-751 package on 7/10/18 and they send me back at 7/18/18,it states proper fee was not attatched. I attatched the check of $595 but they want $595+$85 for biometrics. My question is i have to attached the single check of $680 or $595 & $85 separate check. They stamped on the front page of i-751 form "recieved". So can i send this form or i have to fill another one?

Hi Monty007 this is the July 2017 ROC, not the July 2018, forum so I don't know how many responses you will get.

I believe we all sent in one cheque for both fees.  This may have changed since we filed a year ago.  Best to look at payment schedule on your form.  They revise the I-751 every few years. You do not need to complete another I-751 but I would attach the front page of your file along with the letter, if you made one, and resubmit your cheque along with any documents such what they sent you telling you about the fees.

Either way, you have to submit another cheque.

I just submitted my N400 online. Quite easy to do, but so not like the file size limit they give you. I had to split all my .PDFS 6MB LIMIT PER DOC

Hi All,

I am planning to visit Canada by road for a week or so. My 1 year extension letter expires in October. Do you guys think it is safe to travel with expired GC / extension letter expiring end of October? FYI, I made an appointment for Infopass for this week so I will keep you all posted on I-551 stamp status.

Thanks in advance for all your response,

MB

filed i-751 with a waiver. My ex became an alcoholic and our marriage dissolved after a year. Do you guys think I submitted enough evidence? I'm constantly worried after seeing the long list of things other people submitted:

  • divorce decree
  • joint lease (a year before marriage and a year in marriage)
  • joint tax return 2015 and separate tax return 2016
  • joint bank statements
  • joint utility bills
  • flight tickets to florida (trip with my ex and my parents)
  • hotel reservation for the both of us
  • sports club records showing both of our names, dating back to 2014
  • affidavit from my ex
  • four affidavits from friends
  • pictures (we didn't have a wedding but took multiple trips to different cities)

thanks you!

I think you'll be safe as long as your extension letter expires after the date of your return. That being said, getting a stamp is probably a safer bet. I have an international trip planned in November as well. If my case is still pending in October, I'll definitely be getting a stamp. Are you a VSC filer?
