All I want to do right and is enjoy this moment......:dancing:

hello everyone - so we got verbal approval at our EB2 Immigrant interview last Thursday 07/06/17 in Riyadh, however CAEC status was initially ready for interview for the initial 3 days and since the last 3 days it is coming as Administrative processing ... considering they kept our passports and no slips were given or any extra information requested is this normal that the status is still not issued ... we were told that we will get our passports back in 10 days (not sure including or excluding weekends). Our CAEC case last updated date is yesterday 07/12/17 while still being in Administrative processing nothing updated today ... hope this is not the ugly administrative processing .....

Update. I sent an email to the embassy as an inquiry for an interview, as others had done, the following is their response:

"Dear Sir,

Your case is still with NVC. Once the case is ready NVC will send you a notification indicating the appointment date for the visa interview. We don’t schedule immigrant visa cases unless the beneficiary fail to show up to their original appointment that was done by NVC."

Thank you for your inquiry.

If the application is being processed by the National Visa Center (NVC), you should expect all action up to and including the scheduling of the visa interview appointment to be undertaken by them.  The Immigrant Visa Unit’s role in such cases is to liaise with NVC about appointment capacity at Embassy London, not to schedule individual appointments.

Sincerely,

I received the same :(

I called NVC this morning and the rep said "good news, we are still scheduling August, so you might still have a chance" Love it....it also makes me realize the nature of this process...a combination of patience and chance...I guess :)

Good luck to you.

I called last night and the rep said they schedule at the beginning of the month. If I haven't been scheduled yet, I'll be scheduled for a Sept. interview at the end of this month... What are we supposed to believe??? jeez.
