Update on my timeline.

I received a Notice to Applicant dated 06/21/17 in relation to not submitting a completed and signed I-693.

Quote

Notice to Applicant:

An initial review of evidence submitted with your Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status determined that Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination & Vaccination Record, has not been submitted or has been submitted and is not sufficient for the following reasons:

A completed and signed I-693 was not submitted.

You will be required to submit a valid, completed, and signed Form I-693 at a later date. Please follow these instructions:

- If you receive an interview notice in the mail, you must bring your updated form I-693 to your interview appointment.

- If your case does not require an interview, you will receive a Request for Evidence for Form I-693 with instructions on where to send Form I-693.

DO NOT MAIL DOCUMENTS AT THIS TIME. Mailing documents before receiving one of the notices referenced above may result in a delay of your case.

Is this a RFE or just a plain & simple Notice?  I'm not quite sure.

It looks more like a notice. If it's an RFE, they would not let you proceed with an interview until you submit the documents they request. They may wait for the actual interview or they may mail you with a request to get the I 693 completed before getting the interview date (:

Hi Gabi is the receipt the only thing needed for the drivers license? I thought a social was also needed

Dear, I've got mine, even though my I-94 was expired since February (02/26/2017), there was a doubt about having a expired i-94 but in the end they issued mine...I actually had a expired Florida drivers license that had my maiden name on it and I wanted it with my husband name and they actually did it, despite the fact that I only had the USCIS letter with his name.

I brought my valid passport, my expired passport (it have my American tourist visa), my last I-94, all USCIS letters (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131), my 2 expired drivers licenses and my marriage certificate. I only tried it because my sister told me that she have a friend that got hers also with a expired I-94 and without a SSN. The woman at DMV told me that it is going to be valid for one year from today's date but I wasn't going to get it on spot, she gave me temporary license valid for 60 days and the actual drivers license will be mailed to my house (this is okay because my last one was done the same way, they mailed it to me about 20 days after).

She asked if I had a SSN I said no and that was it, she told me that as soon as I get a SSN I have to go there and let them know it...I think you should try it, there is no other way to know, I believe that it will work out for you just fine.

Good luck!!!
