London Bridge attacker appeared in Channel 4 doc on ‘British jihadis’ (VIDEO)

 

Khuram Shazad Butt, one the London Bridge attackers recently identified by police, appeared in a Channel 4 documentary called ‘The Jihadist Next Door’ last year. Police were reportedly alerted after he was filmed praying behind a jihadist Black Standard and attempting to recruit children at a local park.

Butt, 27, from Barking, East London was part of a “group of British extremists intent on spreading their message of global jihad” who appeared in the program.

In the documentary, Butt (wearing all beige) is filmed praying with the Black Standard with white shahada (Islamic creed) flag in the forefront, along with a group of other radical Muslims in the middle of London’s Regent’s Park. The variations of the Black Standard with white shahada has been used by numerous jihadist groups including al-Qaeda and Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL).

 

A police statement released Monday said Butt was known to police and the domestic intelligence agency MI5, but was not thought to have been planning an attack.

One suspect was a UK citizen, living there since a young boy. He (like the Manchester bomber) seems to have been reported by friends, family, and neighbors - and was ejected by the Imam.

The second suspect seems of shady origin, and clearly has done a lot to hide his actual origin, DOB, and name. The fact that he had Irish documents and resided in Dublin with his UK wife makes sense to me and gives me clues as to how he got into the country in the first place. His wife had not divorced him yet, but changed her name back. The Imam there says his warnings were also ignored.

The third unnamed suspect is said to be foreign.

All 12 persons arrested have been released (not sure why one man attempted to flee out a window hrm..)

Meanwhile the brother of the Manchester bomber (who I thought was also supposedly a terrorist?) has been released from custody...

 

In a rundown of each of these individuals it's always the same though. They always know about them, and they were always warned. It's not like he was even in hiding or doing anything covertly. His actions over the years have been blatant... could have been hauled in at any time.

Clearly there's a societal problem where people like this aren't ostracized and watched by society, lest they be considered "intolerant". I can't imagine why people would tolerate this ####### from anyone. Even child diddlers are shackled and tracked, and not allowed to live anywhere near schools/parks. But terrorists? Nah, they're good. Let 'em go scot free before we get inundated with angry petulant lefties holding signs and getting the media to blow up our phones with calls.

Security on the ferries between Dublin and Holyhead has always been poor and the most likely route into the UK. Travelling on the ferry you don't need a passport just a form of photo id. He was carrying a GNIB card which has yet to be confirmed if it was fake or not. This is one of the concerns with Brexit coming, the freedom of movement between North and South of Ireland which is an easy route in to the UK.
