I lived near there and have walked across the Bridge too many times to recall, I do not recollect an Amish presence in the area, things may have changed.

Funny how when this happens in Europe, there's nothing but that on the news for days, but when it happens in other countries(Israel, Turkey, Afghanistan to name a few) it's barely even reported.

Did you ever see the film Nightcrawler? Was pretty accurate in depicting that it's not news if people expect it to happen in certain areas. It's news if it isn't expected. 

 

Anyways, more relevantly, I'm waiting for more information to comment directly on what occurred. Just shaking my head right now.

Indeed. There were many people who were murdered by terrorists just this week alone in the middle-east. Barely a peep in the news.

It's because when it happens in the west, it give the MOR/MDRs a tingling in their legs, which travels to the tips of their fingers, and prompt them to type.

I would say, for anyone not living under a rock for the last 15-20 years, these attacks are very expected, and also expected to continue.

I remember the days in the early 2000's back in Israel when we would have sometimes 2-3 attacks in one week. We got so used to it that even the Israeli networks went back to regular programming after like an hour of reporting. Here we have a relatively small attack today(not saying that those lives don't count though) and all over the world they're going to be talking about it for days. Heh.
